REPORT: Ted Cruz Entered US Illegally in 1974
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 2/12/16 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 02/13/2016 9:12:01 AM PST by Dana1960

Lawrence Sellin, Ph.D. a retired colonel with 29 years of experience in the US Army Reserve, argues that Senator Ted Cruz entered the United States illegally as a child in 1974. His parents failed to file a CRBA form which is required by US law. Ted’s parents did not fill out the required form until 1986.

The subject of the entire thread is whether or not Cruz is a natural born citizen. What is your answer? Yes or no? The truth is you cannot have an answer because what the term natural born citizen means has never been adjudicated.

None of your posts in this thread go to this issue.

Are you claiming Cruz is part Canadian by culturally or by fidelity?

Wouldn’t you rather have a president that was 100% conservative, and not a big government crony windbag?

How about one that is more principled that to subject himself to dining at Jeffery Epstein’s “Servant’s Table”?

But the United States statutes do not deal with Natural born. Such statutes can be changed, but the constitution as written requires an Article 5 to change it, together with necessary ratification. That is my understanding. Therefore the original intent of 1789 still stands as there has been no amendment.

"Now what does THIS mean?"

What it means is that Ducking Donald can't run an honest campaign on the issues and must rely on distraction for enough gullible sheep to clinch the nomination sobhe can hand the election to "his good friend" Hillary. “I’m not bringing a suit. I promise. But the Democrats are going to bring a lawsuit.” He doesn't have the balls to do it so he's got his surrogates keeping the issue alive for him.

Cruz is a naturalized citizen of the US, and is ineligible to hold the office of president or vice president.

There is no need to flesh out all of the ins-and-outs of NBC, because for sure, "naturalized" and natural born are mutually exclusive.

There are hundreds of citizenship/deportation cases based on the premise that the citizenship of a person born abroad has the naturalized variety of citizenship. The plain text of the constitution leads to this conclusion, as well, but some people seem unable to reason using that document.

When did Ted Cruz become a US citizen?

“According to Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier, Cruz’s mother did register his birth with the U.S. consulate and Cruz received a U.S. passport in 1986 ahead of a high school trip to England.

There are two apparent contradictions regarding how and when Ted Cruz obtained US citizenship.”

I don’t see a contraction at all.

First, “According to Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier, Cruz’s mother did register his birth with the U.S. consulate” indicates that his registration was done while still living in Canada. All US Consulates are in foreign countries, there are none in the US.

and ..

“Cruz received a U.S. passport in 1986 ahead of a high school trip to England.” If he was able to get a US passport, that indicates that all of his documentation as a US citizen was in order.

If, by “put the icing on the cake”, you mean “lowered the bar”, you are so correct.

Yep, I've always thought Obama is the culmination of a 100+ year effort to destroy this country...in his words "fundamental transformation"

“Wouldn’t you rather have a president that was 100% conservative...?”

I want a AMERICAN Nationalist (or “Conservative” before the word was corrupted) in the Oval Office! You’re OK with a foreign person being there?

“I probably know 3x as many people who will never vote for Trump under any circumstances. They’ll write in or stay home instead.”

The same idiots that gave us Obama, will give us Hillary Clinton.

These are the a holes that have marginalized the conservative movement.

The problem with your absurdity is that 20% of Reagan Democrats will crossover (It’s in every poll internal).

If evangelicals are stupid enough to stay home, they deserve everything Trump gives them. He’s going to win anyway.

So when is Teddy going to release his CRBA? Ted got nothing to hide right? If Cruz won the nomination, he would get sued in court all day long and everywhere by the Dems. I wouldn’t worry about it because he’s not going to win it. But if he did, they have a strong case against him. Cruzies hide their heads in the sand.

8 USC 1401 (g) is the statutory definition (it could be challenged, but good luck, it is solidly rooted in common law and original intent). Thomas’s father had only been a US Citizen for two years at the time of his birth. He would have to have been in the US (or in the US Military) as a citizen for 5 years.

“Petitioner Jermaine Amani Thomas was born on August 9, 1986, in a military hospital located on a U.S. military base in Frankfurt, Germany. Thomas’s father, a United States citizen, was a member of the United States military serving on the base. Thomas’s father first entered the United States in September 1977, enlisted in the United States Army in 1979, and became a United States citizen in May 1984. Thomas’s mother was a citizen of Kenya. Thomas was admitted to the United States as a lawful permanent resident in July 1989. His visa form listed his nationality as Jamaican. “

You said, "The idea that the child of a US citizen is not a US citizen is insane."

I produced a case for your review. I know what is in the case, you don't need to teach me what it says or repeat what it says.
