Why Trump Is Winning
Newsmax ^ | 2/26/2016 | Scott Rasmussen

In a time where voters believe that all of official Washington is corrupt, the notion of having a president who doesn't owe anybody anything can seem enticing. Besides, many voters concluded long ago that it doesn't matter whether Republicans or Democrats win.

In either case, the political insiders are the real winners and the nation is the loser.

We've seen this storm coming. Three presidents in a row came into office with their party in control of Congress. Each time, unhappy voters expressed their disapproval in midterm elections by putting the other party in charge of congress.

Never before in American history has that happened to even two consecutive presidents.

This is a fundamental rejection of both political parties.

The rise of Donald Trump as the Republican front-runner is another expression of this frustration.

If nothing else, Trump has brought important issues to the light of day. Seeing the others is like watching a 1980s re-run of Cheers!

The rise of Donald Trump as the Republican front-runner is a fundamental rejection of both political parties. Couldn’t be simpler than that.

Unless you want to read the 50-500 anti-Trump articles a day dedicated to making it far more complicated than it actually is.

First off, polls about the general election taken right now are going to be wrong. Period.

Second, Hillary has put classified material on an unsecured server as an officer sworn to protect and defend the constitution. This should deny her any future office.

Third, Hillary and Bill have used the foundation for payoffs for actions she has taken while in office. She should be in jail for this.

Fourth, Hillary thinks she can be commander in chief when she failed to set proper defenses for our consulate in Libya and then failed to send any aid when the consulate was under attack. For this she should be understood to be incompetent and unpatriotic.

This is a small list of why Hillary is defeat able.

Now, as to why Trump will take her down,

First Trump is a street fighter and does not care if the opponent is a man or woman. She will be savaged for the above actions as she deserves.

Second, Trump will draw from her supporters, because for 8 years Obama has not done anything to improve the middle class job market except for Government workers. The middle class (think blue collar) worker needs jobs to grow in America and this is one of Trump’s main objectives.

Third, Trump is fair, people who work for him are happy to do so. This man has a record of getting things done and so the various groupings of Americans that the left likes to identify will find that they can support Trump easily because the left knows that America is not “whole” under this administration, and Hillary has no ideas except to follow the Obama plan.

Why do Trumpers assume that because you have reservations about Trump you support the GOPe or open borders?Maybe it’s his past and current statements that worry us And why should we accept what Trump is saying on pure, blind faith?

Well, when you start out constructing a narrative predicated on fallacy (why should we accept what Trump is saying on pure, blind faith?), it's a pretty reliable indicator.

It is no such thing. It is a repudiation of the tactics of conservatives.

I’m sick of this argument. What republican EVER was a pure conservative?

I don’t mind reservations about Trump. I am a bit less tolerant of the lies and slander that some people say use in lieu of reservations.

The hounds of hell will beat the drums of war against Trump louder and louder each day he survives. He will survive because we are not fearful of the wrath of our masters. Let them rave, scream, lie and cheat. It will avail them nothing. This nation will be rebuilt in spite of those who have become bloated sucking it dry.

The difference is I have a reasonable and cogent rationale for making such a counter-intuitive statement.

All you have is the demonstrably disprovable claim Trump supporter ask for "pure, blind faith."

Three presidents in a row came into office with their party in control of Congress. Each time, unhappy voters expressed their disapproval in midterm elections by putting the other party in charge of congress.

That's not true. Bush came in with a Republican House and a tie in the Senate, and increased his majority in both houses in the midterms. It is correct about Clinton and Obama, so maybe it only applies to Democrats.

Well, since Trump has no legislative record to debate, the next step to try and get an idea of what kind of president he’ll be.

None of us know for sure. So, we are forced to rely on past statements and positions. And even some current ones he’s made.

So, what we find, both past and present, is frightening. And it’s made even more frightening because we don’t know which Donald Trump will be president. Will it be a media intimidating,Obamacare mandate loving, Planned Parenthood supporting, deal making with Democrats Donald, or a DC cleaning, border controlling,Obamacare overturning, constitutional judge appointing, Donald.

He could end up being a great president, or a disaster for the history books. Since he has been all over the map on the issues, many of us choose to be, at the very least, not blinded by just what we want to hear and see. Vote for Trump. That’s your business. But just be aware that he may not be what you’ve molded him into during the primaries.

I hope, should he get elected, and I believe he will, that us detractors are proven wrong

“It is also a repudiation of conservatism.”

I can’t imagine why anyone would want to repudiate “conservatism”.

After all, so many of us still remember how the heroic conservatives in Congress stood up to Obama and stopped his agenda dead in its tracks by passing a budget that eviscerated his illegal immigration policies, eliminated the energy-destroying EPA, eliminated the Marxist propaganda Education Department, eliminated the job-destroying Labor Department, eliminated the racist Civil Rights Commission, defunded the FCC until they give back control of the Internet to private industry, defunded Obamacare, defunded the Planned Parenthood slaughter, defunded enforcement of 99% of Obama”s regulations and Executive Orders. It was a great day for America when that happened, when conservatives stopped Obama’s agenda cold.

Given all of these amazing accomplishments by conservatives, it’s no wonder that the only thing that Freepers and rank-and-file Republicans everywhere care about is getting some more of them elected so that they can continue applying their conservative principles to such good effect.
