The GOP is doing its damnedest to lose this election
March 3, 2016 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 03/03/2016 10:45:08 AM PST by Jim Robinson

Keep blasting away at your leading candidate and trying to thwart the will of your voters, you will lose any chance at winning the presidency and you'll lose the House and Senate too.

Leftist open-borders RINOs Romney, McCain and the so-called GOP "leaders" are complete idiots.

They don't call it the stupid party for nothing.

Mitt did his damnedest to lose in 2012.
McCain did his damnedest to lose in 2008.
So what’s new?

The difference is the position of the party in relation to the leading candidate.

Those two candidates were supported by the Party and made stupid, loser decisions all by themselves.

Trump is being attacked by the Party but is not giving up. He is fighting regardless of what's thrown at him, and is winning the support of millions of The People.

When he's elected, you're going to get so tired of winning...

“Funny thing is that Trump is leading in all of the other states coming up.”

It’s why we’re witnessing the Keystone Cop routine. They are all panicking, with 20 different plans to stop Trump. Predictable results to follow.

They don't care if they win or lose. They care about preserving what they built and what they have. That's why it doesn't matter if it's dems or republicans in "charge". They have the same goals and the same aims. They "allow" conservatives to come in as long as they're essentially ineffectual. They allow the conservative wing to blow off steam. They're safety valves and conservative click bait so like idiots we'll keep voting "R".

That's why Trump is a threat. He's not an "R" or a "D". He loves his country. He loves capitalism. He see's that the things are messed up and he wants to fix them.

I think Jim is endorsing the elimination of the Republican circular firing squad.

I believe the GOP views a Clinton presidency as a more acceptable loss, than a Trump presidency. Both would be considered losses to be sure, but a loss to Clinton is more acceptable than the loss to Trump. I’m sure they’ve “run the numbers” numerous times to prove it to themselves.

I wonder if they will ever realize that their algorithms are well and truly broken?

“Cruz better get his head right and make peace with Trump.”

We will find out where Cruz stands at the debate.

So you can’t laugh. Nice. It’s funny I don’t care who you are.

I failed to see the humor in your post either. Maybe like your candidate, you are too nuanced, too erudite, too purist for the rest of us ignorant pragmatists. Not to mention you my friend are a chief instigator along with CinncinatusWife and 2ndDivisionVet for anti-Trump thread spamming. Ok to have a contrary opinion but try and not be a angry douche about it.

What does annoy me A LITTLE is that he is late for press conferences and other events. Right now it is 1350 and he was supposed to talk at 1330.

I think the reason for that may be that so many people show up for his events, there are always lines outside, and it takes a long time to process everyone through security. In some of the venues, the halls themselves have overflow rooms that can be opened one at a time as needed; others have capability to broadcast over CCTV outdoors; but obviously this varies by location and especially by weather.

Today's event was a last-minute arrangement that he fitted into his schedule. The energy of the man would be extraordinary in a 45-year-old.

Wrong. Cruz is in the weaker position, but he still has some chips to offer. Make peace with Trump it is game over now. GOPe will completely surrender and Cruz gets to remain relevant. SCOTUS, AG, etc.

Alternative, Trump train keeps on plowing through and we get it all anyway. And we’ll see if Cruz can even keep his senate seat.

Oh. Your description sounded more like the six-faced Mittster the fraudster, the one who apparently threw the last Presidential election to 0, just as McCain before him.

Basically, I see absolutely no difference between the two parties these days. I have been voting for 50+ years and you used to could tell the parties apart. Not any more. Today, they are the same. Oh, there may be a person or two that is different, but not as much today. You see the same faces mixing together at the wine parties. You see the same faces mixing together at the various get togethers. All kisses and smiles. They are seen together at the big meetings the Illuminati has. Republicans and Dimocommies all together. Nope, elect which ever one you might, the outcome is going to be the same.

Cruz beat Trump by 17 points in Texas - what makes you think he will have any problem getting re-elected, even if Trump campaigns against him?

That is a good point. I guess I was just excited about hearing him. He has been pretty good. He made the point on Mitt and went on. I think he will do very well tonight during the debate. He has grown very well during this process. Every time he speaks he gets better. I am proud of him.
