WASHINGTON (AP) — clip

Ted Cruz's big delegate victory in Colorado increases the chances of a contested Republican convention this summer.

Trump would need to win nearly 60 percent of all the remaining delegates to clinch the nomination before the convention. So far, he's winning 46 percent.

Following Cruz's sweep of Colorado's remaining delegates on Saturday, the Associated Press count stands at Trump 743, Cruz 545, and John Kasich 143. Marco Rubio, who suspended his campaign, has 171 delegates.

Also, do not care if the Supreme Court is under liberal rule for God knows how many years.

Maybe if our Conservatives had picked conservative judges we wouldn't have so many problems. Why do the democrats never mess up and appoint closet conservatives?

Though I am not a fan of Cruz, I think he has a great organization, a politically astute mind, and a proven ability to play dirty when needed. In other words, he’d be a great candidate against Hillary solely on these criteria.

You’ve said what I wanted to say - much more eloquently. Trump had no ground game - politics is a contact sport with the contact here bring organization-voter relationship building. It’s how Obama got those idiot new voters to vote for him and why they disappeared during the mid-terms.

Politics is not exclusively a popularity contest.

Funny thing is Cruz is right about Obama on organization. Unfortunately, I don’t think Cruz’s organization will be of much use in the general. Perfect anti-Hillary candidate - IMHO, Trump with Cruz’s organization and political acumen :)

you mean threaten to sue and then nothing.. Problem with trump going independent is that is getting late and some states have so loser laws and wouldn’t be able to get on ballot.
********************
Yep. Sore loser laws. Plus, if Trump dropped out of the GOP race, consider where the vast majority of his delegates would then be allocated. That would be Cruz, which would ensure his nomination. .....Go 3rd party, Trump!

Now that is an interesting perspective, obviously developed as we have watched the primary unfold.

IMHO its not Cruz at all doing what hes doing. This is GOPe actions. None of this was apparent from before he sold out to the GOPe and anti-America First Globalists.

This is also why Cruz will not be winning the nomination- these are not pro-Cruz delegates hes “winning” those are Party insiders.

You do not hear people saying too much they are for Cruz as they are against Trump at such “wins.”

100-1 that if he won the nomination, the philandering stories will come out in far greater detail.

And they will be the same baseless lies the they were the first time.

But the answers are not going to come from more gossip and innuendo. Make note of that.

Gossip and innuendo are the weapons of the left which I see being used against a man who has done you no harm and yet there have become for many interchangable with FACT.

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Here is a fact Cruz stood on the Senate floor and unashamedly called Mitch McConnell out for the liar he is, he didn’t tweeter it, he didn’t leak it to some tabloid, he didn’t do it on a phone-in to some talk show or in front of a rally of thousands of adoring fans, now which do you think shows more courage?

Cruz campaign does their homework again.

Yep - they know how to nullify the votes of the People by getting the "delegates" to ignore who voted for who...

You are so full of it. Has nothing to do with Cruz being smarter are more likeable. This is the stage designed by the party for them to be able to control the nomination process. At the delegate selection level, the party always wins. Cruz is their man now and they will eternally own him. Trump must win enough primaries to win on the first ballot.

Exactly
If Trump is as smart as he says he is and hires the best of the best like he says he does,

Then TRUMP should have known the rules and SHOULD now be crushing Cruz in the delegate to delegate contests.

When it comes down to it, Trump is an empty suit with a mouth and a hair piece.
