WOW! Glenn Beck: Nobody Can Understand the Moses-Like Burden Ted Cruz Carries
The Gateway Pundit ^ | 4/12/16 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 04/13/2016 12:26:20 PM PDT by tatown

Radio host Glenn Beck told his audience last month that Ted Cruz was “anointed for this time.”

Beck also brought a fasting child on stage in Utah and declared, “This is the priesthood rising.”

On his television program last week, Beck told his studio audience that he sent an encouraging note to Ted Cruz a couple weeks back because nobody knows what it is like to carry the Moses-like burden that Cruz bears. Transcript via RWW:

“Imagine being in a position to where you believe it, you believe the country is at the end, you believe that God is telling you, ‘Step up to the plate.’ You believe that you, just like Moses, may be slow in speech and not the perfect guy, but you know if you get in there, you can actually do something and you’ve tried to stay loyal. Do you know what that life is like for two years of tearing yourself apart, of ‘please Lord, just tell me, just tell me, just tell me, I’ll do it, just tell me.’ And the burden of I blew it? Oh my gosh, I don’t want to be them.”

Wow!

Glenn.... it’s time to get back on the meds.

Bottom line: Cruz is better than Hillary.

Trump is better than Hillary.

However, Glenn is bat xxxx crazy

Oh precious, two sites that support Trump, but we must refrain?

I would more worry that they make you look like kooks.

Jim Hoft and "Sundance" appear to have lost whatever marbles they had at one time. Each pronouncement from them seems shriller and more desperate than the previous one.

I can live with Trump. I will not be upset if he wins, but i'll never look at those two writers the same again. As far as i'm concerned, they crossed over into the twilight zone awhile back.

“Ted Cruz is a true, consistent conservative who believes in the Christian values that made this country great!”

No, he’s a Cuban ivy leaguer Bushie who cuts the Cheese for Amanda Carpenter in a hotel. (which still horrifies me)

In SC Beck said that Cruz was sent by God to guide us thru the rapture, and that Scalia’s death was part of God’s plan to get us to vote for Cruz. In NV Beck said that Trump supporters were “brownshirts,” and in UT Beck said that Cruz was the fulfillment of Mormon prophecy.

Beck sounds more like someone who should be holed-up in a compound somewhere with a stockpile of Kool-Aid.

The fact that Cruz continues to campaign with this guy tells me that Cruz is AOK with Beck’s religious insanity.

65K Coloradans voted--they just voted against Trump. That's 11 elections in a row we've won. #WhiningIsntWinning https://t.co/m0NrRh5mFu— Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) April 11, 2016

Glenn Beck is like a character from SNL. To call him a clown is being kind to him. He sounds mentally deranged. Imagine the fun the Dems will have if Teddy Cruz wins the nomination. There is his weird statements and obsession with Trump and his buddy Beck’s delusions and teddy-bears for illegal alien gang members handouts. They are making this into a crazy primary season.

This used to be funny, now it is quite sad. Beck needs help.

Cruz is no Moses, but Beck is certainly a basket-case.

So Beck didn’t say what was quoted. Beck didn’t get on his knees and pray for Ted? Beck didn’t fast for Ted. Sorry, but you are placing blame on the wrong party. Look no further than the Lunatic Beck and aim your wrath there. Why should Sundance and Hoft avoid quoting him? Because it makes Saint Ted look bad?

That’s absolutely vile of you. While the entire world including the conservitive Web was yelling that Zimmerman was a murder only Sundance and hot had the guts to investigate and find the truth that he was being railroaded.

These are men of good character that you’re slandering. You should apologize at once.

You mean like every single author at National Review, Commentary, and American Thinker? They post 20 anti-Trump screeds per day.

That won’t happen. Blasphemy was committed when they dared to show a quote of a member of Saint Ted’s inner circle of wise men.

So Beck didn’t say what was quoted.

I have no idea what Beck said. I quit reading stuff coming from Jim Hoft till at least after the nomination, after which I hope he goes back to some sort of normalcy.

Hoft has been sounding "cray cray" lately.

You didn't even have to click the link. It is in the header:

“Imagine being in a position to where you believe it, you believe the country is at the end, you believe that God is telling you, ‘Step up to the plate.’ You believe that you, just like Moses, may be slow in speech and not the perfect guy, but you know if you get in there, you can actually do something and you’ve tried to stay loyal. That’s absolutely vile of you.

Well thanks. Sometimes I worry that i'm just not going far enough. :)

While the entire world including the conservitive Web was yelling that Zimmerman was a murder only Sundance and hot had the guts to investigate and find the truth that he was being railroaded.

Now with this I agree. I have read quite a bit of their investigative work, and they offered facts and insight which was helpful and relevant towards better understanding the situation, but since they have become so partisan in the primary, both of them quit trying to be reasonable and rational, and have now gone on a kooky crazy talk campaign.

I hope that after the primary is over, they will regain some of their previous rationality, but till the primary is over, I am no longer interested in seeing any more of their rant fests.

These are men of good character that you’re slandering. You should apologize at once.

I don't consider anything i've said to be inaccurate. Both of them sound like kooks to me anymore. They have got some sort of fever, and i'll be glad when it breaks.

They have both left me with the impression that they are not as rational or as methodical as I used to believe they were.
