I am for Cruz, but if Trump comes in with the most and the GOP pulls some BS to deny him I have no problem not voting at all and letting Hillary have it. Which maybe the GOPs plan all along, it gives them a target to continue to raise money.
>> However, if Trump arrives in Cleveland having won the most votes, the most contests, and the most delegates — all of which is very likely —
— then he’ll get his fair chance to win a majority amon the voting delegates.
If he can accomplish that, he’ll become the nominee.
If he can’t eventually win a majority of the delegates, then he will not be the nominee.
Simple, and fair.
Yes this writer gets it, and except for an excessive belief in the current polls showing Bernie and Hillary beat Trump in November the article is valid.
Depriving Trump of the nomination because he lost to another candidate is unfair??
Trump logic
Good thing CBS is looking out for conservatives.
If the RNC/GOP pulls something at the convention to take the nomination from Trump they may be creating more than stay-at-homes, they may be creating something completely new:
Kamikaze Voter
Removing Republicans from every office everywhere
I hope that Trump gets the 1, 237 he needs to sew up the nomination because if he doesn’t then that gets us “Nervous Tick” Kasich which would be a complete disaster.
if trump does not win enough delegates to the 1237 level , he must secure the balance from those floating around to get their votes on first ballot
100 delegates at $10,000 = A measly million $$
If as has been posted the going rate is a country club membership for $20 grand, the price is still only $2 million
The key is to sniff around and find the balance of delegates that is lacking for the first ballot
It seems delegates are cheaper than TV time
When a CBS spokesman is making the case for Trump, alarm bells should be going off in every conservative’s mind.
