I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

Reality is Cruz cannot change anything obviously, he's owned lock stock and Barrel by the GOPes special interest Masters and never left their employ.

That may be your reality, but it's not the truth...

“Whatever issues I might have with Ted, I know he’s not a political weathervane.”

LOL...it’s not nice to tempt us that way with such a wealth of material to choose from for rebuttals.

So the man who takes money from anybody, has voted against our interests many times, and is only running now because his campaign is funded and run by the GOPe is going to change 180 from his prior behavior (talks one way, acts the other) and all of sudden piss off the people who have been controlling him for decades?

Not happening, That’s the reality.

Fine - but his positions on healthcare and immigration have been very consistent. Follow Trumps, then try to walk a straight line.

“And now, with an actual aggressive constitutional conservative in the race, the sort of candidate we were all crying and begging for (Ted Cruz), this?”

“And so many former freedom fighters agreeing?”

“I couldn’t explain it to save my life.”

You just described why your problem exists. You are deluding yourself with false conclusions and false beliefs. When it comes to Ted Cruz you have your blinders on and fail to realize how opportunists like Cruz or Rubio operate to deceive their audiences. Criticisms of this nature are not an endorsement of the other candidates, including Trump. All of the candidates have their failings. Trump is simply benefiting from his willingness to be the champion of the citizens who have been so long without someone to represent their grievances against the Democrat and Republican establishment politicians.

Your Buddy Bush finished with one of the lowest approval ratings in
American History. 27% to be exact.

And gave us Obama.

I think I see what is going on.
You are a big Jeb supporter too and are angry that Trump knocked
him out. You are parking your support behind Cruz because you are
a lot more anti-Trump than pro-Cruz. You are really a Jeb supporter
hiding behind Cruz.

“Fine - but his positions on healthcare and immigration have been very consistent.”

On the contrary. I find that Cruz has been highly treacherous on those issues by promising anything to win popularity and then selling those constituents out in the backroom while still pretending to be so loudly opposed in the public forum.

That’s so sad.

So Cruz is SO brilliant that he conceived of this plan to pose as a Constitutional Conservative when he was still in his single digits, and held to it through his entire life, private and public, to the point where everyone who knew him knows it, and the Country Club establishment knows and hates it about him.

But you’re so smart, you see right through it — that this LIFE-LONG PASSION is just a pose.

Not you, you’re not taken in. You know that you should trust Donald Trump, a lifelong Clintonian amoral liberal and Clinton donor, who’s only talked semi-conservative (and not that, much) for the last fifteen minutes.

Him you trust, not the lifelong, sane Constitutionalist.

Tragic, and shameful.

Great post Jim Rob.

I just would like to add one thing.

That unlike typical establishment republicans when the media went after Trump he did not cave.

The people who say he’s a phoney would do well to remember that.

But a man who invited the Clintons to his wedding, contributed to their foundation and campaign, plus helped finance the 2006 and them congressional takeover that eventually gave us a Obamacare isn’t the least bit treacherous?

Cruz is who he says he is NOT.

Look carefully about who you are supporting and lending your name to, you likely will regret it if you are not careful.

Supporting Cruz and Kasich is rapidly going to aiding a abetting the enemy as well as attacking common sense.

Donald has let us get to know who he is over the course of these 8 months and so has Ted.

Do you honestly think FreeRepublic was just a bunch of latent Trump fan boys? Most everyone thought when Trump announced - "Donald Trump, president what that guys a self promoting jackass" or something along those lines.

Trump has some none of the others have its called Leadership. He also is tenaciously America first.

Check my history

You’re wrong

I do think George w bush was a great president

See my about page

But that’s part of what makes trump so appealing right.

He thinks bush let 911 happen

I love bush and Cruz.

Cruz is more conservative than bush

I think hatred of bush Unites faux conservatives with their leftist brothers and sisters

he ain’t gonna do nothing he says.

Grammatically speaking you do know that two negatives equal a positive, so Trump thanks you for your support.

BTW, I thought that you were gone, why are you still posting drivel?

Donald has lost to Cruz more than any other candidates

That’s why he and his supporters loathe him.

“Maybe he changed. That would be the only explanation. It’s unlikely, but possible. The problem is, why would we risk that??? Why when we have someone whom HAS fought for our ideals and beliefs, all the way to the Supreme Court time and time again, and WON those fights.”

I would just like to point out that Cruz was Solicitor General of Texas during his forays into the SCOTUS realm and ancillary courts. He was doing his job and he lost more than he won. He was part of a team, a Dept. He was well-suited for the task, don’t get me wrong.

However, he himself didn’t take on an establishment and stand for any particular personal principles. He was representing the Great State of Texas which was passing conservative laws and Cruz was doing his job. He was not a white knight rebel who bucked thru the system and set everyone straight.

He’s no doubt brilliant. However, he is part of the DC Cartel he now no longer railes against.

After having helped put Cruz in the Senate, I will be voting for Trump for POTUS>

It is at best delusional to think cruz could win any swing states or bring in any extra voters wen he can’t even win more than 4 states and is really getting people angry at his ego driven campaign of paying off delegates.

Cruz people are starting to approach Ron Paul and Lyndon LaRouche territory - and they accuse Trump supporters for being part of a cult of personality - we live in the Bizarro World up is down.
