I’m sorry for this particular group, but with a long history of liberal lies, it is really stupid for any conservative group to cooperate in any respect with a MSM outlet or other hostile source. Glenn Beck and the other so-called conservatives were also fools to cooperate with Facebook’s little dog and pony show regarding censorship of non-leftist viewpoints. The proper response to a leftist request for an interview is to hang up on them or turn your back if they try to ambush you.
I believe that Katie Couric was one of the very regular visitors to orgy Island on those Learjet flights out there which Bill Clinton also enjoyed.
Curious as to why they bother giving interviews to known anti gun Leftists with a track record of distorting the interviews for their agenda?
Seems to me a waste of time as they always turn things around to put the gun advocates, supporters on the defensive.
The only reason to participate in such an interview is to embarrass the interviewer when he lies. Kudos to the VCDL for making their own tape of the interview and letting the truth be known.

This is an enduring and inviolable lesson, whenever one is being interviewed by any MSM, the subject must operate their own video and audio recording equipment contemporaneous with the network crew. NEVER give the MSM dominion over the only evidence of what was said.

I disagree. When you’re looking to get information out, the leftmedia can be and are very useful idiots. The only way you can reach those who can be persuaded is to talk. So, you talk.
As the article indicates this is one of a very few instances where there has been a problem. So, do you avoid talking to folks and not get your message out as fully as it could be otherwise? Or do you take a risk, knowing full well that if the leftmedia pulls a fast one, you’ll have a recording and can prove that the leftmedia lied. Either way it’s a win for our side.
