They are religious zealots, like Cruz.

He was anti-Trump and he needed to go-good riddance.

Too bad you can't see what we are fighting for!

That doesn't change the fact that Huelskamp was the most conservative candidate in this race. I have consulted with Huelskamp's office several times and different issues and I can tell you, he is a solid conservative.

I have admitted all over all this thread that he did make a big mistake going anti-Trump before even giving Trump a chance. I even spoke to his people about this.

And trust me, look at my posting history, I'm one of the biggest Trump supporters here so I do understand what we are fighting for. It's too bad Huelskamp didn't give Trump a chance or he would probably be celebrating tonight.

How do you know that Heuskamp wouldn’t have been a fly in the ointment for Trump? *snicker*

Cruz, Levin and never Trumpers definitely lost but the establishment won. Huelskamp hated on Trump during primaries and I guess people didn’t forget. 15 point blowout and the polls had them tied.

I don't know a lot about this Kansas race, but I bet things just got very interesting in Arizona and in Wisconsin-01.

Listening to the guy on FOX turned my stomach.

Typical prissy religious conservative.

He couldn't let his 9 year old listen to Trump!

What world do these people live in?

Thank you for that.

I did read the article and watch most of the video. He definitely was not FOR Trump (at least not at that time) because he felt Trump was not enough of a conservative and flipped on too many issues, was degrading to women. That does tell me what I wanted to know. Appreciate it.

So, the last thing I do want to say about Huelskamp is he is extremely conservative (you can also see that in the video) but perhaps too conservative for the norm these days.

And one last thing about Marshall, there were just 3 of us women in the office but one of the ladies commented that the best descriptive word for Marshall was “arrogant” and the other two of us agreed, he’s arrogant. I don’t think Kansas gained anything and probably lost to have Marshall voted in.

Yeah sure, a guy who helped bring down Boner is not a conservative.

You should probably get over the fact that not everyone in the party was in favor of nominating Trump as was their perfect right. Trump won and that’s over now.

Huelskamp supports the nominee as my more recent information shows (your video is from May). Anyone who voted against him cause he preferred Cruz was being silly, Marshall is an an establishment RINO backed by the COC.

Stop relying on blogs.

Next Tuesday the 9th. Nehlen is getting the right attention at the right time. However the Wisconsin 1st is not the same as the KS 1st or the VA 7th that gave Dave Brat a win over Cantor. The VA 7th is R+10, KS 1st is R+22, the WI 1st is R +3. The thing that Ryan has to worry about is that his district is dominated by Cruz and Trump supporters who basically have a good reason to hate his guts. These congressional primaries tend to be low turnout affairs which favors Nehlen. This will be a very interesting race and it will give us a peek of things to come. If Ryan wins narrowly or loses big it means that what we’ve seen to this point in the primary season with Trump is even further baked into the electorate. What usually insulates incumbents is that people are usually happy to politically stay with the horse that won the last race for the party they prefer. A Paul Ryan lose in Wisconsin would be a very good indicator for Trump because it will send a big message that this is a change election which it is of course but it will just ram the point home more forcefully. Now if we run the board and take out John McCain that would be so delicious.

I have no love for Cruz, and would love to see him and Cuccenlli expelled from the party. Unfortunately, the Republican party is filled with Rinos, democratic sympathizers, open boarder proponents, and one worlder’s. We will need a loyal majority to keep the elections fair and carry out Trumps agenda if he is elected.

And you’re still name calling, ignoring the substance being discussed.

We’re losing conservatives, the ones many of us worked our behinds off to help elect in 2010 2012 etc.

ALL THAT WORK FOR NOTHING even though they did everything they promised.

Yes I said it!

I’m wondering. Do we no longer support the conservative in the race? But we base the whole thing on who he/she supported in the primaries?
