To: Jim Robinson and all of my treasured FR family ...
I regret to say that the number of my posts and messages will be taking an abrupt downward turn in the next little while, I can't say in what measure or how soon, but like many of our fellow patriots, health issues have reared their ugly heads in my life, and I see only a limited number of exits approaching, all of them ending with my journey ceasing long before I had originally hoped.
I won't go into the details of what's wrong with me, everyone has issues they're dealing with and all I would say is that I will be praying for each and every FReeper who has asked me to remember them in prayer. I know that I do not come across as a Godly man, nor is my prose or expressions that which I would recommend for anyone, to paraphrase Popeye "I am what I am, that's all that I am, I'm Mark Jessup the American man."
Am I flawed? Oh you bet. However I continue as I have encouraged others to do each day "do your best, and trust Jesus for the rest." My eternity is secure. I have no worries about where I'm going to end up because I have placed my full faith and trust in the Hands of the King of kings and Lord of lords, and I will not be moved from that position, it is non-negotiable.
I don't know if I'll be around for the election in November, I'd like to think the Lord would grant me enough time to see a rousing Trump victory and the defeat of the Communist-Muslim fascists that have subverted and taken over our government, and if I soon can't continue the fight from this side, I'll be trying to fight 'from the other side' if possible.
I won't do any 'shout outs' to my FRiends because anyone who knows me also knows the FReepers who are closest to me, they all know who they are, I just regret that I won't be able to personally meet you all in this lifetime, perhaps we can make up for that in the next.
I'd like to emphasize that if anyone had the idea of offering any sort of monetary help to me, please do NOT - I know some FReepers might like very much to do that (at least I hope they would, lol) but if that is the case with you, then kick up your donations to Free Republic, help Jim Rob in every way you can, pray for that man, lift him up each and every day to the Lord Jesus, Jim is a God fearing, Jesus loving Christian who is washed in the Blood of our Lord and he needs all the help we can give him. I have made arrangements for my own modest monthly donation to continue on after my demise, whenever that might be, I just wish it could be more.
And speaking of our 'Esteemed Founder' as I like to call him, Jim?
My apologies to you Sir, for all of the times I probably caused you some indigestion and grief with my somewhat 'overly rambunctious' style of posting, what you have done with the creation and continuation of Free Republic will be remembered in history as an integral part of the fight for America, you and our family of FReepers made it all happen, may it continue long after we're all gone.
I could go on for a while here as most people know, but this seems like a good place to end this goodbye to you all. I may not be disappearing immediately, however I'm going to need to start curtailing the amount of time I spend online, and sadly FR cannot be immune from that.

You have set the Opus’ bar very high, FRiend. Very high indeed.
Lest I miss the opportunity, there are a few thoughts I wish to share with you, driven by my own foolish vanity and not through any missteps or failings of your own. I will try to be succinct.
First and foremost, recognize the time of your passing is not yours to control. God has, in wisdom, kept away from us the knowledge of future events, that we may be always ready for changes. We must all die, no flight or hiding-place can save us, nor are there any tools or weapons of effectual resistance we can employ. We can hasten the eventual passing through suicide, however this is a grievous sin, a theft from God. Avoid this if you can endure. Those closest to you will be the most thankful. Consider the words in Ecclesiastes, Chapter 8.
Recognize the power of prayer. Prayer is a formidable tool, a weapon against evil. Ask what you will of the FReeper prayer warriors. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective, and there are many righteous men and women in this forum. I speak of this through experience. They are not mind readers; they cannot provide their awesome assistance if you don’t request it.
Lastly, most importantly, fear not. Our salvation is through grace, lest any man should boast. We do not attain entrance to heaven through our own good works. It is a gift to us, the cost of which is paid in full by Jesus Christ through His sacrifice. Our time on this earth is but a wink of an eye compared to what awaits us. Our minds shackled in this mortal coil simply cannot conceive the beauty and joy that await us once we are freed from this world. The evil one that controls this world has no power or control over us in the next.
