Demonstrate how large-xcale legal and illegal immigration affects American worker's wages and you are a xenophobe. And if you quote the Koran to show the general incompatibilities of Islam with a secular republic, you're an Islamophobe.

As you say, BLMers threatening to murder people is just self-expression according to media mavens like Joel Stein. Someone pointing out that blacks have more unfortunate encounters with police because they commit crimes at sky-high rates is considered "trolling" and "hate speech" by Joel Stein and his friends.

The Left does that a lot. To a Leftist, you can't disagree because you have a different viewpoint, or different priorities. To the Leftist, people who disagree are either "ignorant" (their term for people who have been inadequately indoctrinated) or you are Evil. There are no other possibilities to them.
If they have decided that your disagreement is because you are Evil, then they assume that there must be other Evil activities that you are guilty of (but REAL child-molesters, like Polanski, are given a pass, because the Left likes them).
