Democrats wonder and worry: Why isn’t Clinton far ahead of Trump?
WaPo ^ | 9 Sep 2016 | Anne Gearan, Jenna Johnson and John Wagner

NEW YORK — With Election Day less than two months away, Democrats are increasingly worried that Hillary Clinton has not built a formidable lead against Donald Trump despite his historic weaknesses as a national party candidate.

Even the Democratic nominee’s advisers acknowledge that she must make changes, and quickly. Clinton leads Trump by a mere three percentage points, having fallen from her high of nine points in August, according to the latest Real Clear Politics average. That tightening has frustrated many Clinton allies and operatives, who are astonished that she isn’t running away with this race given Trump’s deep unpopularity and never-ending stream of controversial comments.

“Generally, I’m concerned, frankly,” said former Democratic Senate leader Thomas A. Daschle (S.D.). “It still looks positive, and I think if you look at the swing states and where she is right now, she’s got a lead. But it’s certainly not in the bag. We have two months to go, and I think it’s going to be a competitive race all the way through. I would say she’s got at least a 60 percent chance of winning.”

At the same time, Daschle said, “all the things that Trump has done, the numbers should be far more explicitly in her favor, but they’re not.”

Among Democrats’ concerns is the fact that Clinton spent a great deal of time over the summer raising millions of dollars in private fundraisers — while Trump was devoting much of his schedule to rallies, speeches and TV appearances.

From the article: “It’s going to be the craziest 60 days we’ve ever seen in politics,” said Mary Anne Marsh, a veteran Democratic consultant who is not working for the campaign but said she remains confident in Clinton’s chances. “Give me any other Republican, and I can tell you exactly how this is going to go down. I can’t do that with Donald Trump.”

This is exactly why Trump is THE MAN!

Saw a poll recently that showed Clinton +4....with a D+14 sample and 57% women in the sample. I mean, that’s ridiculous.

I'll say this: if Trump wins comfortably, the "knives and pitchforks" are going to out BIG TIME to take down the Clintons. Expect many Democrats to say they got abused by the Clintons, and even former close associates of the Clintons like James Carville could join in.

And that's before legal authorities in Switzerland and Singapore take down the Clintons for monetary racketeering across international borders using the Clinton Foundation. If I were Lukas Lundin of Lundin Mining, I'd better have a really strong legal team because you could be charged in racketeering as part of the effort to open the Tenke Fungurume mine in war-torn Congo.

If I were Lukas Lundin of Lundin Mining, I'd better have a really strong legal team because you could be charged w/ racketeering as part of the effort (aided and abetted by the US govt's State Dept) to reopen the Tenke Fungurume mine in war-torn Congo.

Thanks for focusing on this Clinton scam---one of their most conniving. The connivers revived the hated "African colonization" history by which Africans lost most of their natural resources to the white man.

REFERENCE

NOTE The FBI observes that among the most ethically challenged emails Hillary was desperate to hide dealt w/ "Selling Access."

HERE'S HOW THE CLINTONS SCREWED AFRICA OUT OF ITS VALUABLE MINING RESOURCES: The head of a Canadian company with an enormous interest in Africa....in the Congo's mining and oil sector.....Lukas Lundin of Lundin Mining.....announced a $100 million donation to the Clinton Foundation on the heels of Hillary/s first presidential campaign....as she became Secy of State.

After the Congolese government attempted to regain control of its own mines, the State Department intervened on behalf of Lundin Mining and another mining company, Freeport Mines, also a Clinton foundation donor.

A round of talks in 2010, thought to be aided by the Clinton State Department, concluded with the pair of well- connected companies (Clinton Foundation donors) retaining their stakes in the mines and with the Congolese government being shut out of its own resources. THE STATE DEPT PAPER TRAIL---- Hillary/s State Dept Aide Shared Classified state Dept Info With Clinton Foundation
2012 Email Shows Hillary Aide Cheryl Mills sent info marked confidential to Clinton Foundation
Reported By Alana Goodman, Free Beacon September 28, 2015

A key aide of Hillary Clinton emailed classified information about the government in Congo to a staffer at the Clinton Foundation in 2012, according to a copy of the correspondence obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Cheryl Mills, Clinton/s chief of staff at the State Department, sent the email to the Clinton Foundation’s foreign policy director, Amitabh Desai, on July 12, 2012.

The message, which was originally obtained by the group Citizens United through a public records request, is partially redacted because it includes foreign government information that has been classified Confidential by the State Department......but was not marked classified by the State Department until this past summer.

Intelligence sources tell the Free Beacon that it would have been classified at the time Mills sent it because foreign government information is considered classified from inception.

The message could add to concerns from congressional and FBI investigators about whether former Secretary Clinton and her aides mishandled classified information while at the State Department.

About half of the forwarded message was redacted due to its classified nature before the State Department released it to Citizens United last month.

Although it is not clear what the redacted section includes, the State Department said in a court motion filed last week that it concerns both foreign government information and critical aspects of U.S. foreign relations, including U.S. foreign activities carried out by officials of the U.S. Government.

The State Department added that the disclosure of this information has the potential to damage and inject friction into our bilateral relationship with African countries whose cooperation is important to U.S. national security.

The Clinton Foundation and the State Department did not respond to request for comment about the email, or say whether Desai...a non-government employee who has worked at the foundation since 2007....would have been authorized to view Confidential information.

This is the second article today on this topic. Translation: the dems are getting in panic mode. Hillary was to be ahead by 15 points now. (And if the GOP nominated Jeb, Marco or Kasich that would be true)

In the article, the dems state that hillary has charisma that they have seen when she was in the Senate. NOT. She never had anything like that. The clintons ruled with intimidation, no charisma. The article states that the dems want her to show her inner soul? She does not have one. Her real inner soul is when she curses out the SS agents around her.

Bottom line, the dems and msm are panicking now of what is happening and how it will likely not change.

It required three presstitutes to write this article. The Post is guilty of Journo welfare.

Paying for three to write this piece is in effect welfare for presstitutes.

The story of how Lundin used the Clinton Foundation to keep control of the Tenke Fungurume mine is the second-most infurating and saddening part of Clinton Cash. We're talking a mine literally in the middle of a war zone, since southern Congo is one of the most affected areas from the continued strife in that country.

——Hillary will get most of her base out-—

I wonder about that

BLM was developed as a political construct to get out the black voter base. In Kansas Hillary could not draw 2/3 of those attending the convention. The current polls indicate Trump already has 20% of the black vote. We can’t speculate on if there will actually be an 80% of the black vote actually voting.

Hillary has the SEIU vote but what about the Steel workers, the Teamsters, the Electrical and communications workers? The union base is almost certainly not there in the required numbers.

While millenials may prefer Hillary, they re not her natural base and while showing preference, may not actually go vote. The same is true of “women”

Hillary does not have the traditional Democrat base locked up

But Tom, this is not what your sycophants in the media are saying. They say she DOES have it in the bag.

I hope they continue to spout this crap. When they think they have won, they decide not to show up.

I have heard a lot of criticism of Trump but the only thing I have heard that sounded even remotely like support of Clinton came from one or two absolute blithering idiots, the kind who still can’t admit that Obama is not a great president.

“The let down on November 9th will be a big doozy for them LoL.”

Not if they can cheat enough it won’t, they are working on how to win without even a single legitimate vote for their candidate if they can figure a way. If something is not done to combat fraud they will eventually be able to nominate Lyndon Baines Johnson again AND WIN.

Those who want to vote for her don’t WANT to know the real truth, they know all sorts of wonderful things about her, the problem is that none of what they know is true. I think that many of them have to know deep down that they are living in a fantasy but they don’t care, they prefer to remain in denial of the actual facts.
