All they could find, probably. But if homeschool mama's correct about this guy being in Denver, sounds to me like there must have been a quiet APB put out on him. They've been talking to the guy for a week, too -- so this is not a new thing.

Only according to the rumor mill. The police hadn't said anything firm on it.

Where is the Child Most of all.. This is not good news IMO.

Sadly, I agree. I'm thinking back to those dogs at the construction site yesterday -- and the fact that this suspect was apparently a construction guy. That little piece of "non-news" suggests that they've got some ideas already about where to look for a body.

No. The JBR case is still unsolved. Her parents remain the prime suspects, according to Governor Owen.

Name is Robert Albert Ricci(?)pronouced Reechee(?)

I just watched the news on the local Fox affiliate. Albert Ricci is being held in jail, and is being questioned by the SLC police. They arrested him on June 14. The investigators in the case think he may have a big piece of the puzzle as to why Elizabeth Smart was abducted. Ricci worked on the Smart home about a year ago as a handyman. He is a felon with a long record, mostly burglary, but did spend 15 years in prison for the attempted murder of a highway patrol officer. The police cannot get an alibi to their satifisfaction as to where Ricci was the morning Elizabeth was abducted. Ricci has taken at least one polygraph test.

The police are still questioning Bret Edmunds in West Virginia. There will be a press conference tomorrow morning at 11 am to update on both stories. I'll watch the 10 pm news also to see if I can get any more info.

BTW: Is anybody else reporting this? Not that I'm a cynic or anything (well, actually I am....) but this case has had so many single-source stories that turned out to be wrong, I'm hoping for some confirmation from another source.

then broke the story from her source
back in SLC. Pays to keep in touch--
for her it did, anyway. CNN was zero
on this while Carol & Rita C. broke
it LOL. Prayers for poor Elizabeth...
