Anyone think Islam is a sham?? How about the Palestinian cause? Have a look at the Source link above. You can't argue with these facts. Period. The only true solution is to wipe out the PLO and Hamas. Not work with them on some sham of an election and waste of time. Anyone want to forward this to Colin Powell??

What do some Jews mean when they say Eretz Israel?

Both sides want the other side to disappear.

Jews aren't blowing up innocent civilians in surrounding nations and then crying for help from the outside world about the pitiful state of "their people."

Never said that they were. But just as some Palestinians want Israel to disappear, some Israelis want the Palestinians to disappear. As well as part of Syria, most of Lebanon, etc.

Until they begin aggressively dogging that agenda through the blood of innocents, the point is pretty moot, is it not?

Though the Palis might want the entireity of Israel as their country those in power recognize the reality of their situation. Most of the examples are merely symbols or wishful thinking.

Both sides want the other side to disappear.

A more realistic paradigm,I think, would be that the Arab nations are a pack of dogs while Israel is a porcupine.
The porcupine simply wants to be left alone; but the dogs just cannot do that -- the mere presence of the porcupine is too great a provocation to the dogs. They simply cannot control their urge bark, yip, threaten, snarl, and, occasionally, try to take a bite (only to get grievously hurt).
The porcupine, if left alone, would pose no threat to anyone whatsoever.

Israel has no designs whatsoever on any Arab territory; but if the Arabs start another war, they need to be prepared to lose some more.

That's not what that map seems to indicate.

A partial Jewish State is not the end, but only the beginning. I am certain that we cannot be prevented from settling in the other parts of the country and the region. - David Ben Gurion, in a letter to his son, 1937

But against whom? Modern-day Arabs do not consider themselves descended from non-Semitic Canaanites. To the best of my knowledge, they trace their identity to Ismael (sp?), son of Abraham, the Jew. So I don't know what relevance your statement has. You seem to say that Semites have no claim to the Middle East... but who are the living descendents of those who would?

Pack the murderous Israelis up and confine them to their pre-empted patch and things will settle down.

Good idea. Push all the Palis out of the Israeli "pre-empted patch" and let things settle down. But they won't settle down, because Islam is an invasive disease that needs to be eradicated or taught that messing with the civilized world is a losing proposition.

I'm not sure I understand the map.
If the Blue is Israel, then it shows that the Israeli's are perfectly happy to have a Palestinian country on over 70% of the land, Jordan.
Even if it is some wird affirmation of soveireignty over te entire gold area, then it is really irrellevent. You are comparing a map put out by a PRIVATE group with those of the PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY.

Why did you support the Zimbabwean White Farmers until they stopped fighting, but not israel which does fight.

From your posts, you seem to consider Israel some colonialist enterprise. Well it fights but you wont support it. Either you are inconsistant, or have some special rule for Jews.

There's no such thing as the "Occupied Territories." It's a sham. The areas that have been labeled the "Occupied Territories" were areas that should by all accounts be considered Israel proper as a result of the "friendly, open-minded, liberal, loving and kind neighborhood Arab states' past attack on Israel."

If they didn't want to lose the land, maybe they should NOT have attacked Israel in the first place.

Sore losers!

Flick...next!

Unless the Jews are suicidal, they should want all the Palestinians gone from Israel. Only then will Israelis be able to live in peace. It's the only realistic solution.

If the Blue is Israel, then it shows that the Israeli's also claim two thirds of Lebanon and part of Syria, as well as the Occupied Territories.

It isn't a very well drawn map. The exact borders are hard to make out and I beileve that they have a mistake on the Iraqi-Saudi border.
I don't see 2/3 of Lebanon included. If it were, then the Galilee and Golan heights bulge on the eupper right side of Israel would not be so plainly visible. (I would note that a country is occupying Lebanon, Syrian. Howeverm, the map does not indicate this. )

The blue area shows Israel to include the post-1948 borders plus the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and Golan Heights.

You claim that this map shows Israel asperations. It would seem to show the current boarders of Israel controlled territory. (Unless you are saying that Israel does not control this territory.
There is no asperation for Syrian land shown here. The Golan Heights were annexed in 1982 or 1983 after a referendum. The Druze, christians, Arabs, and Jews of the Golan heights are all Israeli citizens and most choose to serve in the army.
If you are such a fetishist for the 1923 borders that you do not accept Israeli annexation of this territory, you are relying on an agreement that set the Kingdom of Transjordan to be the palestinian state and the rest of the Mandate of Palestine from the Jordan River to the Medditeranian to be teh Jewish state. If you accept the 1923 borders as sacrosanct, then you cannot call the West Bank and Gaza strip occupied.
