Poor Algore. He lost in 2000 because of Bill and Hillary Clinton. Although the economy, which was held together by the smoke and mirrors of the dot coms, was already tanking at the end of the Clinton administration, not many voters realized it yet. And they certainly didn't realize the foreign policy nightmare created by the commander in chief who loathed the military and admired the spirit of Neville Chamberlain.

Gore should have been a shoe-in. A sitting VP in what most voters thought were good times of peace and prosperity. But he lost. Yes, you whining chad-sucking DemocRATS, he really did lose.

And now more recently, Hillary would not endorse him for a presidential run. Al's troubles with Hillary are not recent. They actually began as early as inauguration day in 1993.

The following episode comes to us from Gary Aldrich in his book UNLIMITED ACCESS -----

Other warning signs were more ominous. The Clintons, for instance, had been late to their own inauguration. A case of jitters or understandable last minute fussing?

No, not according to extremely reliable sources who have spoken to me and who, for obvious reasons, must remain anonymous. One of the reasons the Clintons were late was because Vice President Gore had just found out that the West Wing office usually reserved for the vice president was instead going to be occupied by the first lady.

Network news cameras, trained on Blair House the morning of the inauguration, recorded a glimpse of the president and first lady screaming at each other. Sources I consider very reliable affirm that Clinton told Hillary that if she didn't back off from her plans to unseat Gore, Gore would go public with his anger and perhaps resign. Hillary shouted at him that as far as she was concerned, they had a deal--a deal that dated back to the campaign, when Lloyd Cutler had convinced her to stand by Clinton despite the allegations that he'd had an affair with Gennifer Flowers. The matter had already been decided, she said, and she had no intentions of backing off; Gore was bluffing.

The Clintons arrived a half hour late at the White House Residence to join President and Barbara Bush. They also established an odd precedent. No first couple-elect ever brought friends with them for the traditional tea with the retiring president and first lady in the Blue Room before the motorcade journey to the Capitol for the swearing-in ceremony. But for some indiscernible reason, the Clintons brought along their friends Harry Thomason and his wife.

After taking the oath, Bill and Hillary Clinton were taken to a holding room in the Capitol building. Minutes passed while everyone waited for Bill and Hillary to emerge to commence the inaugural festivities. A Capitol Hill police officer was ordered to inform the Clintons that everyone was ready and waiting.

The policeman knocked and opened the door of the holding room. He immediately shut it, beating a hasty retreat. Hillary Clinton was screaming at her husband in what was described as "uncontrolled and unbridled fury." Apparently the matter of office space was not settled.

The Capitol Hill police and the Secret Service quickly conferred about intervening if it appeared the president's life might be threatened by the first lady! The question before them was, "How much physical abuse is too much physical abuse?"

The exact deal was that if she helped Bill get through the Gennifer Flowers mess, she was promised control of the domestic portion of Clinton's presidency. That was the major portion of his job. That's why she got all her gal-pals into the high-level jobs. That's why it truly was a "co-presidency".

Thats the key phrase. Bill had all of his world built on deals. From the Chinese, the Arkansas mafia, the environmental folks, his wife, his various mistresses, the Taiwan connection, etc. Thats the problem with Bill...nothing could happen unless you had a deal. Its amazing that he sat there and told Hillery in the first place that she could have this particular office. Any historian or White House official could have easily told them that it had always been the VPs office...but they didn't even bother with that. My guess is that they just asked for floor plans and put yellow stickies on the thing...the type mentality of college kids getting a house to rent.

As for the hot babe deals, you cannot find a single Bill Babe that did not get a deal. Every single one of his regular babes got deals. They all had one of two things in mind...that they could eventually unseat Hillery and become the wife of Bill, or that they had low self-estime and simply wanted to pump themselves up by having Bill as their lover. Bill never cared about a single one of them...as is evident. But he got everything he needed.

Historically...you can go from George Washington to Woodrew Wilson before you see wives involving themselves in political runnings of the White House. Wilson's great hidden stroke and the refusal of his wife to admit to that...was the beginning. As you get into the Roosevelt (FDR)...you see the next step in this process. Few presidents would have allowed their wives into the arena of power....Teddy would have told his wife to pack up and leave if she had tried to influence him.

In 40 years, a lot of youthful historians will ask how this all happen, in a open society, and with a open media.

A key question which I would like to hear answered...did Hillery ever grasp the fundamental nature of the White House at all? Was she in such a mental state that she cannot comprehend the real world? Did she burn so many braincells in her youth, via whatever drugs she might have been taking...to get to this point?

The body of 77 year old Yolanda Schlessinger was found at her home apartment in Beverly Hills and had apparently been dead for several months prior to the gruesome discovery. Lt.
