January 25, 2003 -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton yesterday made the explosive charge that President Bush has not done enough to make the nation safer in the wake of 9/11, saying, "We have relied on the myth of homeland security." In a blistering speech at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Manhattan, Clinton used her strongest words to date to take Bush to task, charging he hasn't provided enough anti-terror funding for local cops and that he's taken a "piecemeal approach" to making America safer.

If Hill-the-Beast is taking those kinds of shots at Bush, you'd better believe that her focus groups have told her it's safe. Which means that the Left is becoming emboldened in its anti-American agenda, even after 9/11. Apparently, the patina of patriotism has worn off, exposing the base metal underneath.

I for one never believed it at all. Hearing Ted Kennedy or Tom Daschle sing "God Bless America" only made me want to retch.

Hillary must be down in her approval polls. She has nowhere to go but to attack Bush in order to maintain her Manhattan base. That is how I see it, anyway.

She may have pledged not to run in 2004, but she is already campaigning---and intends to be the Democratic nominee in 2004 [unless GWB's polls are extremely high]. Her goal---another rout of a popular, war-winning, sitting President and Bush deseated by a Clinton.

The recent poll I saw was about Hilery being the favored candidate over every Dem vying for the presidency.

Sadly, alot of people listen to her, and that's why we must counter her.

I am continually shocked, and can't get used to it, when I see the speeches and interviews of these Democrats, at the nerve they have to undermine the President as he manuvers our way through this most difficult time. It is treacherous.
