What about certain yogurts and some flax seed oil? Maybe some fresh spearmint leaves to settle the stomach?
Not that I am a traditionalist or anything.

Dear metmom... I am still praying for you.
I have one suggestion for you to try... give up all grains and dairy, and eat only organic meats and the “good” oils (olive oil, ghee, coconut oil) for a trial.
This is called the “paleo diet”, or the caveman diet, or the neanderthal diet. There is research to support it, particularly with certain illnesses.

Heavenly Father, we come before you with praise and adoration and we lift up metmom and her family to your healing grace and comfort. We pray the doctors will be able to discern the cause of metmom’s illness and prescribe an effective treament for her. We also pray for your traveling mercies for the Metmom’s as they travel to the doctors appointment and back home again. Please draw near to metmom and her family Lord. I was interested in possibly buying some coconut oil and that all went out the window when I saw the price $14 for a very small can.
I was going to make old fashion popcorn (some freeper put the idea in my head).
No worries popcorn is not kind on my tummy anyway.
We know a gal that can only eat 3 things at this time due to allergies.
Hopefully metmom can get this resolved.
Eating is an enjoyable pleasure and going to doctors on more than a regular basis in not.

The family sings it and the one daughter looks like a virginal version of Lindsey Lohan.
Kinda what I would think she might have looked like now had she not made unhealthy choices all the way around.
Anyway I just love that Prayer when it is done musically. Makes me choke up, and I am not so much on the sensitive side.

Hi... I have prayed for healing. Your problem seems so enormous,but I know you are a woman of faith, which is sometimes all we have to rely on in such times.
Let us know how you are. I read a book on allergies many years ago. I have an auto-immune disease (actually three - lovely, huh?). Allergies are considered low scale auto-immune diseases - of course, yours is much more serious than the usual ragwood allergy or allergy to eggs, nuts, etc. Anyway, for whatever it’s worth, the book was excellent (wish I could recall it). The author wrote about how sometime around 1907, a doctor started experiencing various symptoms (symptoms anyone of us would easily recognize today) and he tried to find others with the same symptoms. He was having a very hard time finding people. Can you imagine walking into any group of people nowadays and having a problem finding people with allergies? Crazy.
It had a lot more but the gist was that auto-immune disorders are a relatively new problem. I really wonder a lot.
Anyway, may God give you a safe trip to Boston, a doctor who is committed to your issue, and some answers and hope.

Prayers up that they will be able to find what it is that is causing these allergy problems and treat it so that you can be whole and healthy and prayers up that the lost items are found.
I had a Hippy dippy cousin was "beyond hope" found a christian nurse then a priest's confession at his death bed in hospital. We found out later. We had to " pull the plug ". He was in a coma. God is Good!
