Obama going off the deep end FLOYD AND MARY BETH BROWN, COMMENTARY April 9, 2010 A recent analysis by Roger Simon of PJTV Media maintains that Obama is showing signs of mental illness. A wide variety of commentators have observed that Obama displays severe narcissism. Obama is conceited, and he is demonstrating a serious disassociation from reality. A recent case in point was Obama's bizarre and meandering 17-minute, 2,500-word answer to the simple question about how he could justify raising taxes for ObamaCare during a recession when citizens are already overtaxed. Obama's wildly inappropriate answer left the audience stunned and...

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Liz Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has opened a conference of Southern Republicans by calling President Obama's health care campaign an arrogant power play. The first speaker at the three-day Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Cheney accused Obama of peddling "phony numbers" to get his health care bill passed by Congress. She predicted Republicans will repeal the bill.

President Obama declared for the first time yesterday that he was prepared to steamroller his troubled health reform legislation through Congress with only Democratic support; a move Republicans denounced as the “nuclear option”. Signalling that his patience had snapped after a year-long fight, Mr Obama laid the ground for Democrats in Congress to muscle the Bill through using a high-risk legislative manoeuvre known as reconciliation, which overrides a Republican filibuster. Although he did not use the word “reconciliation”, Mr Obama made it clear that that was the route he intended to take. Democrats will, as a result, be able to...

Barack Obama was in his element as he addressed the bipartisan health-care summit he had convened for the principal purpose of shaming the recalcitrant Republicans. His preferred lectern had been taken away and he had been forced to agree to remain seated but it was nevertheless a cherished opportunity for him to scold, patronise and peevishly disdain his opponents – and to pontificate for nearly six hours. To be fair, Obama spoke for a mere 119 minutes, as opposed to the 110 minutes he deigned to allocate to the Republicans and the 114 minutes he gave to his fellow Democrats....

Here is video of President Obama making opening remarks to Republicans at a GOP House Issues Conference in Baltimore today, where he chastised them for opposing him on ObamaCare, and for not getting on board with other aspects of his agenda. Obama said he does not want "Washington to continue being so Washington-like." He spoke as if he is not obsessed with polls and politics. He said Americans want the politicians to focus on the job security of Americans - not themselves. Obama took the opportunity to make the case for why he pushed the Stimulus Bill, and took credit...

This isn't a gratuitous remark. This mug is really disturbing.

President Obama is moving swiftly to try to recover from his worst week in the White House, speeding up his schedule for engaging in the 2010 political races and planning to use his State of the Union address on Wednesday to show the public a feisty side, White House senior adviser David Axelrod said in a telephone interview with POLITICO. He vowed, however, that there will be “no reinventing” of the president, even though “Washington loves a shakeup or human sacrifice.” Stunned by the rejection of the Democrat in the Massachusetts Senate race last week, Obama asked David Plouffe, his...

<p>US President Barack Obama has awarded himself a B plus for his first 11 months in office, stressing in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that there was still much to be done.</p>
<p>"A good solid B plus," Mr Obama said during an hour-long, intimate soft-focus ABC network Christmas at the White House special, when Winfrey asked what grade he would give himself.</p>

To this day I remain baffled and somewhat dumbstruck by the complacency of the public, the mainstream media, Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court for their willingness to dismiss challenges to President Barack Obama's (aka Barry Soetoro) natural born U.S. citizen status. Yes, the election is over, and yes, I acknowledge that nothing likely will ever come of this, but it astounds me that we are in month nine of Obama, yet his eligibility to serve as president remains unresolved. The majority of challenges to Obama's natural-born status revolve around the fact he has refused to release his original, long-form,...

These people are incredible. They are delusional. they believe they are kings and queens that the law doesn't apply to and only they understand what the law is. And even if it applies to them they can ignore it when they know better. Pelosi has the gall to duck a real question as to where the Constitution allows Congress to FORCE citizens to buy health insurance. She knows they cannot do so, they have ZERO authority to do so. The General Welfare clause is a laugh. It has NEVER been used or seen by anyone as direct power to force...

The last time the Dalai Lama visited Washington, President George W. Bush presented the exiled Tibetan leader with the Congressional Gold Medal at a ceremony on Capitol Hill. Now the Dalai Lama cannot even get a private meeting with President Obama. The only winner in this rebuff is communist China.

THE EGO HAS LANDED During his campaign, Barack Obama took a moment while walking to his jet to stop and answer a couple of questions, off-the-cuff and ad-lib, for a gaggle of paparazzi swooning and fawning behind a rope-line en-route from the terminal. As an affable Hussein smiled congenially at his biggest fans, a reporter went badly rogue and asked the candidate a tough question regarding his birth certificate; something along the lines of, “Why won’t you just show it?” The smile, which had never quite reached his eyes anyway, twisted into a thin-lipped snarl, as those eyes went steely...

The Justice Department's decision to drop an already-won voter-intimidation case against members of the New Black Panther Party merits multiple, independent investigations. On Tuesday, Rep. Frank R. Wolf, Virginia Republican, officially asked Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to refile the case. Mr. Holder should comply. So far, the Justice Department has stonewalled legitimate inquiry. It has yet to provide records sought by this newspaper back in May. It has yet to answer a July 22 letter from Mr. Wolf that asks 35 questions on 17 different subjects relating to the Black Panther case. Justice has claimed, falsely, that the...

First reactions are always telling. When a person is caught unprepared and speaks off the cuff, you can see their true beliefs. By calling the actions of Cambridge police Sgt. James Crowley "stupid," Obama showed his true feelings. He moved from being the post-racial president and revealed that counter to his election campaign protests to the contrary, he was listening to the sermons of hate-mongering Rev. Jeremiah Wright. But even more troubling, Obama demonstrated his arrogance, a very dangerous character flaw for a president to possess. Near the end of his primetime news conference, Obama cavalierly answered a question on...

It is a sad day America, when our President is appologizing to the rest of the world for what we have done. That is at least how I feel as do many other Americans. During President Obamas first international trip the agenda appeared to be apologizing for the U.S. instead of promoting the strengths of our great nation. Obama worked harder at making friends rather than instilling confidence in the United States. Mr. Obama evidently lives in a much different world than I and many Americans do. I feel no need to apologize to any one for what the U.S....

MOSCOW — If Paris is for lovers, it looks like Moscow is for families. After passing on dinner with the French president to go on a date in the City of Light with his wife last month, President Obama took leave of his Russian hosts on Tuesday night to seclude himself in his Moscow hotel with his wife, Michelle, and their daughters. The first family enjoyed a relaxed evening at the O2 Lounge, the super-chic, super-pricey rooftop club at the new Ritz-Carlton, although no doubt the Secret Service first cleared the place of most if not all of the swaggering...
