BOSTON (CBS) – The Moakley Federal Courthouse has been evacuated because of a bomb threat. WBZ-TV’s Karen Anderson was inside the courthouse when she was told to evacuate. Guards were reportedly calling the evacuation, “code red.” Sources tell WBZ-TV a bomb threat was called into the courthouse. A large crowd of media and civilians were gathered outside the courthouse after reports an arrest may have been made in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority shut down service of its shuttle between Times Square and Grand Central on Sunday night, and briefly had 4, 5 and 6 trains bypassing the station after a bomb scare halted activity to the transit hub, according to MTA officials. COLLEGE STATION - A bomb threat has led to an evacuation at Texas A&M University in College Station.The university asked students to evacuate "by foot immediately" at around 11:34 a.m. A witness at the scene said students were calmly and slowly evacuating the area.The evacuation comes a day after Texas State University was evacuated after receiving a similar threat. Three buildings on the campus in San Marcos were evacuated around 9:40, but students were later around to return in the early afternoon.More details to come.

DEVELOPING: A building at Walter Reed Medical Center was evacuated Wednesday after receiving a phone call about a bomb that would explode at 10 a.m., WTTG reported. Explosive detection dogs are sweeping the building and all appointments at Walter Reed Bethesda have been suspended until 2 p.m. The Daily Caller reported that the person who answered the call confirmed that a threat was made, but did not discuss the matter further. MARTINSBURG - Police and fire crews closed down the Chick-fil-A on Foxcroft Avenue in Martinsburg for nearly three hours following a bomb threat that was called in just before 1 p.m. today.
