I've been trying to contact the ATF NFA branch concerning a form 4 all morning. After nearly a dozen tries, I contacted the ATF's main 800 number. A representative there told me that there is "A possible Anthrax Contamination of that floor." It is being investigated right now. The NFA branch in DC has been evacuated. No further information at this time. If anyone wants to see if they can get more information, the main number is 1-800-800-DULL Mike

Attention Holiday Shoppers: 'Don't Put a Handgun Under the Christmas Tree This Year' MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens for a Safer Minnesota (CSM), a gun violence prevention group, warned holiday shoppers not to put a handgun under the Christmas tree this year. CSM noted that handguns can pose health risks due to inherent defects in their design and fabrication. Additionally, most handguns lack safety devices like trigger locks and load indicators that would reduce the number of accidental injuries and deaths caused by the unintentional firing of guns. Currently there are no health and safety regulations for handguns. Ironically, ...

On Sept. 11, 2001 the worst single terrorist incident in history took place in the United States of America. As of the day of this writing, 5400+ people are missing in New York City as a direct result of two hijacked airplanes crashing into the World Trade Center Towers. Could the attack been prevented? Doubtful, though possible. Could the attack been thwarted? Yes. Had but a single person on each of those planes been armed, the hijackers would have been stopped. Will law abiding citizens be able to arm themselves on such flights? Not likely. This incident brings up a ...

Hi all, I work at AOL. We have a series of conference rooms that are usable by groups such as the GOP, DLC, the Red Cross, etc. Well, right now, as I am typing this, the Democratic Leadership Counsil is having a planning meeting here. I happened to go by the auditorium where they are meeting and on the display screen in the front of the room was "Gun Control Priorities" There were a couple of items listed but the main one in huge bold letters was about the 1994 semi auto ban. The speaker was very emotional about the ...

Hi all, I wanted to pass this along last night but I was far to pissed to type it then. I was channel surfing last night when I came across MPT (channel 22 in the Washington DC area). They were doing a spot on their news with a representative of a Maryland Chapter of the MMM. The representative ran the usual bogus statistics and even made up a few of her own...
