That's actually an early Foxbat A idol from an ancient Babylonian dynasty. A reincarnated later heathen idol was called Foxhound. Both were believed to be unbelievably fast but it was learned that they only carried enough life giving serum to reach altitude, make rude gestures at foreign armies and return directly to their tomb. While originally thought to be made of precious metals, they were really an iron age concept. Ashes to ashes, dust unto dust.

There is no single database of issued cards, each Consulate has its own database. The review criteria to apply for the card puts more emphasis on the Consulate receiving its $28 (no aceptamos pesos, gracias) than there is on validating the applicants identity. Law enforcment agencies have publicly reported finding offenders in possession of muliple "matriculas", under multiple names but with the same persons photograph.

This is simply a backdoor method of giving some legitimacy to illegal aliens so that they may obtain drivers licenses, buy guns or obtain public benefits. Oh, I forgot; and it guarantees El Gobierno de Mexico that those cash "envias" (wired money) keeps flowing. Viva Mexico!

Puerto Rico was legally ceded to us by Spain following the cessation of the Spanish American War. Puerto Rico is now our responsibility.

Therefore, I propose that we declare war against Spain and attack without further adieu. I have no doubt that we will win and we can then demand that Spain take back Puerto Rico.

    Problem solved!

Yes, President George W. Bush should apologize for slavery and should apologize on the behalf of all white people who,in any way, profited from slavery. In fact, he should apologize for all white people, regardless. It would probably be appropriate for all of us to do that individually as well.

I think an appropriate time for us to do that, and to show our genuine remorse for it, is immediately following the declaration by blacks, arabs and other races and nationalities that they are genuinely ashamed and remorseful for selling their fellows and brethren into slavery for fun and profit.

Perhaps a further declaration of intent to cease selling their own people into slavery would be appropriate at this time.

It would be relatively easy to tamper with the pilot chute and bridle to prevent deployment of the main but the reserve is a completely independent system and would have to be similarly deactivated and that is not as easy. Most mains are positive pull or throw out but a reserve is deployed by a sprung pilot chute that lifts the d-bag right off your back.

I'd need to hear more to be able to visualize what actually happened. There was no mention of any deployment and that is where I would look first.

Has anyone rented a truck lately? Rent a Penske truck and get a free trip to India. Upon completion of a rental, the Rental Agreement is sent to El Paso, Texas for a quick trip across the bridge to Ciudad Juarez. In Juarez, the Rental Agreement is scanned and sent via the internet to Hyderabad, India for processing. Penske's administration used to be done in Brea, California but all of those loyal, long term employees were fired en masse in favor of having the work done cheaper in India.

I don't know what Penske wants us to know but all the Penske India employees use American nom de guerres. I'll get a phone call that goes like this.......

Blue Leader, this is "Betty Smith".
Hello, what's your real name? It's Sharmily, isn't it?
    (embarassed pause) Yes, that's right.
    What city are you in?
    I am not in America.
Well, that's obvious by the Indian elevator music. Where are you?
    We are in Hyderabad.
    Well don't nuke the Pakis.

It always makes me feel good knowing companies don't mind making money off us but they give the work away to who comes cheapest. I wonder how many Indians rent Penske trucks?

Texans with CHL licenses may carry "almost" anywhere unless the business posts a PC:30.06. The "30.06" is an extremely specifically created and worded sign which would disallow CHL carry on their premises.

An Applebee franchisee, Applejam Texas, initially put up 30.06's and prevented legal concealed carry on their many premises. I am pleased to say that I was one of many who contacted the franchisee and Applebee's national management to announce that we would no longer do business with their chain. Applejam Texas quickly apoligized for their hasty decision and reversed their policy. They do not now post 30.06's and CHL is accepted on their premises.

We won this one but the war isn't over. Keep up the fight.

Mexican Wealth Gives Texas City a New Vitality

    June 14, 2003
    By SIMON ROMERO

McALLEN, Tex. - Unemployment in this small city on the
southern tip of Texas hovers around 15 percent. Incomes are
half the national average, and many people sell grapefruit
and melons from the back of battered pickup trucks to make
    ends meet.

Much of the thirst for luxury here - whether for Jaguar
sedans, imported marble from Turkey or rambling Tudor-style
homes in the gated communities on McAllen's north side -
reflects the economic might of another nearby city:
Monterrey, the prosperous industrial powerhouse of more
than three million people in northern Mexico.

The same vitality holds true for a variety of other
businesses in McAllen, a city about nine miles from the
Mexican border that is 90 percent Hispanic.

"You get the ease of a manageable American city where
almost everyone speaks Spanish," said Rubén de León, a
Monterrey native who moved to McAllen several years ago as
an owner of Regio Tile, a company that supplies Mexican
tile and Turkish marble to customers here and to chains
like Home Depot. "Essentially you're in Mexico and the
United States at the same time."

McAllen's Chamber of Commerce estimates that as many as 80
percent of new businesses are owned by Mexican citizens, a
reversal of the proportions from about five years ago. This
influx of Mexican money has transformed McAllen into a city
    that often confounds economists.

For example, per capita income in McAllen declined to 45.3
percent of the national average in 2001 from 47.6 percent
in 1990. That would suggest the city became poorer even as
investment flowed into McAllen and Reynosa, on the Mexican
side of the border, after the the North American Free Trade
    Agreement took effect in 1994.

Almost half of the Sharyland homebuyers are Mexican
citizens, many from Monterrey and some who pay entirely in
cash, said Patrick D. Brewer, a McAllen-based executive who
oversees the project for the Hunt Realty Corporation, based
in Dallas. "There's no shortage of cash in Mexico," Mr.
    Brewer said.

McAllen city officials do not keep statistics on the number
of homes owned by people from Monterrey, but the evidence
of Mexican real estate investment here is widespread. Mike
    R. Perez, McAllen's city manager, said in an interview that
one family on his cul-de-sac owned homes in Monterrey and
McAllen and an apartment in Paris.

Not everyone in McAllen is thrilled with the influx of
wealthy regios. Some residents, for example, resent the
tales of private jets from Monterrey landing at McCreery
Aviation's airstrip, within walking distance of a Tony
Roma's restaurant, a Sheraton Hotel and La Plaza Mall.

"People say, `Those Mexicans,' when they get behind a
really terrible driver from down there," said Rosie Uresti,
a junior high teacher. "They're a little aggressive for
    some of us."

The best indicator of whether McAllen will continue to
absorb Mexican investment is probably the value of the
peso, which remains at a historically strong level despite
weakening somewhat in recent months. A weaker peso would
make it more expensive for the regios to spend their money
    here.

If you read the above excerped article, you will have noted that wealthy Mexicans weild significan political power here. It is in there benefite to keep Mexican-Americans and Democrats in power rather than facing the tighter restrictions and greater control of the border which could arise under Republican representation.

"Looks like the Brownsville, Texas Chapter of Free Republic has a dandy FREEP opportunity!"

Yeah, well; that's probably me. The token Gringo Republican in the valley. State Representative Kino Flores said today on the radio that redistricting is a "racist" plan because "we're Mexican".

Many of the rabblerousers in Brownsville couldn't speak English and I have strong reason to believe that a lot of them aren't American, can't vote and are here illegally. I think that makes them undocumented protestors.

I want to sincerely apoligize to all of you for being a person of the Caucasian persuasion. I am most embarassed and hope you will be able to overlook that and accept me almost as if I was Black or Asian. My ancestors were poor people who came from the rocky isles west of Scotland but I am going to pretend that we were wealthy plantation owners who bred slaves like cattle so that I can feel guilty enough to repent my color. I must admit that I never was a racist and always took a stand for equality but I'm hoping that you will forget that and treat me like the honky, militant Aryan nation, Ku Klux Klan member that is really in me. My whole race is rotten to the core and interested only in supporting racism so that we can exploit the unwashed masses of the world.

Is there some nice African-American person named M'bogo M'tembe (born Alice Johnson) who would like to adopt me and punish me for my depraved past?

Lord Justice Auld, sitting with Mr Justice Goldring, said it was clear the word "Paki" - short for Pakistani - was "a slang expression which is racially offensive".

The good Lord Justice would have done well to study the meaning of the Urdu word "paki". It means "pure" as Pakistan means "land of the pure".

It is, however, quite alright with the good Lord Justice to call people pommies, aussies, yankees and whatever else. As long as they are white.
