  • Girl, 15, beaten, critically hurt at Deerfield Beach Middle School, boy charged

    03/20/2010 5:45:09 AM PDT · by Bones75 · 36 replies · 2,011+ views
"DEERFIELD BEACH — A 15-year-old girl was viciously attacked by a boy outside Deerfield Beach Middle School on Wednesday afternoon and remains hospitalized with critical injuries, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. Investigators have arrested a boy they say punched the girl, then smashed her head on the pavement and continued to kick her and stomp on her head with steel-toe boots as she lay unconscious, said Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles." http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/crime/girl-15-beaten-critically-hurt-at-deerfield-beach-385891.html
  • Need Help on Surveilence (Vanity)

    05/15/2006 6:57:59 PM PDT · by Bones75 · 46+ views
I hope this isn't the wrong place to put a vanity thread, if so I appologize. I wonder of some of the more astute Freepers out there might help me find some links that detail the previous Supreme Court decision(s) which relate to the inherent presidential authority to collect intelligance such as the NSA wiretaps. (I believe it was during the Carter administration if I'm not mistaken that it happaned, and possible during FDR/WWII as well) Also I'm looking for links that detail Bill Clinton's "carnivore" program, and, in aprticular, media reaction to it. (which I would like to compare...
  • Burn in Heck, Tony Stewart!! (Vanity, MAJOR arrogant jerk alert!!)

    02/21/2005 2:32:43 PM PST · by Bones75 · 14 replies · 508+ views
Okay, this is a "friend of a friend" story, but I have it on very good authority that this is true, otherwise I wouldn't post it here. Said friend is a firefighter for the Jacksonville Fire Department in Jacksonville, FL, but during the races at Daytona some of them are sent down there to help out. Sometimes while there, during breaks they get from ebing on duty, they get their firefighter jackets signed by the drivers, etc. Saturday morning before the Busch race, the CAPTAIN of her squad approached Tony Stewart and asked him to autograph his jacket. His initial...
  • Tonight's SOTU Speech, I hope.. (vanity)

    02/02/2005 6:41:11 AM PST · by Bones75 · 1 replies · 54+ views
So I suppose the format will be as usual, Bush gets his time for his SOTU speech, and then afterwards the dems get to do their rebuttle... In their earnst to degrage and minimize everything that is going on in Iraq, I am quite sure they will be bleating about their "exit strategy" gripe, since the free elctions in Iraq hurt them pretty bad and they'll be working on damage control. Of course we know what the strategy in Iraq is, but I think Bush should use some of his speech to lay out a detailed plan like he has...
  • The True Face of the Democratic Party (A DUer is finally honest)

    01/30/2005 12:00:38 PM PST · by Bones75 · 85 replies · 3,272+ views
Saw this post over at the DUmpster.. Looks like one of the DUmmies actually let the truth slip out. Soak this up people, because this is the true face of the left and of the Democratic party today: "The Iraq vote is making me sick this morning All the media keeps talking about is how happy the Iraqis are, how high turnout was, and how "freedom" has spread to Iraq. I had to turn off CNN because they kept focusing on the so-called "voters" and barely mentioned the resistance movements at all. Where are the freedom fighters today? Are their...

Hey all, thought the space lovers out there might like this if they haven't seen it yet. It's the timeline of the Huygens descend noted in Eastern time.... Here is a detailed timeline of major entry events on Jan. 14 (in EST; all times represent when an event occurs relative to signals received on Earth). • Question I must ask about sore losers' vote fraud allegations

    12/02/2004 9:17:37 PM PST · by Bones75 · 7 replies · 343+ views
Okay, here's what I have been wondering. All I hear lately is, "well, we need to do something about voter fraud" wah! Okay, What voter fraud? show me. I see liberal pundits, Jesse Jackson, etc, when they are asked to face up to their loss, it's "Well, there are still questions about the vote.." blah blah. Okay. What questions? Where? Be specific. "Voters were disenfranchised.. voters were intimidated" Okay, show me an intimidated voter. Show me a disenfrachised minority voter. Surely you would be the first to parade them in front of the cameras. Where are they? Where are all...

  • Why doesn't anyone fight the ACLU?

    11/19/2004 5:52:49 PM PST · by Bones75 · 15 replies · 218+ views
Or why do so few do so anyway? Why does it always seem like every time they trample all over somebody, people just lie down and take it? I understand it can get expensive, and the ACLU doesn't fight fair, using the typical "agree with us or we'll just sue you into oblivion anyway" tactic, but isn't there SOMEBODY out there who can stand up to these people? I just read that they ran right over the Boy Scouts again, (real noble, jerkoffs) and now this new gripe they have with the mention of God on some safe sex website......

  • Nutjob DUers REFUSE to accept reality

    11/05/2004 6:42:04 PM PST · by Bones75 · 10 replies · 310+ views
They used to worry me, but now that they have been completely marginalized I actually feel bad for them. I guess this is what happens when you stay inside a circle of people just like you and refuse to even look at the outside world. The madness just feeds on itself. You'd think they would have learned from this. They absolutely REFUSE to accept any responsibility. They are still just ranting, and raving blaming everybody but themselves. Screaming about voter fraud, which there was none of, because it is inconceivable to them that so many people could disagree with them....
  • Nice little bit of straight up communism on Slate.com

    11/03/2004 8:24:12 PM PST · by Bones75 · 3 replies · 96+ views
"Some of you are dismayed by the emergence of a huge voting bloc of churchgoers. Stop viewing this as a threat, and start viewing it as an opportunity. Socially conservative blue-collar workers don't believe in the free market. They believe in the work ethic. Bush wins their votes by equating the free market with the work ethic. Show them where the free market betrays the work ethic, and they'll vote for the party of the work ethic—you—against the party of the free market..."

  • Did Mel Martinez win the florida seat?

    11/03/2004 7:51:52 PM PST · by Bones75 · 5 replies · 166+ views
Did Mel win, does anybody know? Also what were the results of the abortion/parental notification amendment on the Florida ballot? I am bummed, I screwed that up. The wording of the text on the ballot was so stupid, I misunderstood it at first. Now, I am a reasonably intelligent guy, but I got thrown off as to whether it was "Yes, you want the law in place to prevent abortion w/o notification" with "No you dont", or if it was "Yes you want kids to have abortions w/o notification"... I voted "Yes.". UGH! And when I re-read my sample ballot...

What a horrendous wench. But since it looks like Bush will win, I might get a bit of smug satisfaction if he does over this chick. Guess you should try to be funnier in 2008, huh? Moronic waste of life. Bones

I posted a reply on a thread yesterday, and it doesn't show up, and someone replied to a thread I posted, and it also didn't show up. And here is the odd thing..
