Dammit, Freerepublic is nigh on useless. Can no one on this site tell me if the bloody tinfoil goes inside the old chapeau or on the outside?

Should I me looking a Mu metal foil, Gold Foil, Lead Foil? It is painfully obvious that space beings have damaged the brains of many freepers with some kind of ray gun, and I surely do not want that to happen to me.

This is why I frequent the Copper Penny Bar on Buckeye Lake. In case of alien invasion, by taking refuge under the bar, I can remain safe from damaging rays beamed my way by UFO drivers.

I was however, hurt by a serious Jim Beam, which caused liver damage.

You must wear a seat belt because if you are killed in an accident in which you are at fault, suing your estate is too difficult for the other victims' lawyer.

Also, collecting traffic fines from the dead is practically impossible. It is apparently much less difficult to register a dead guy to vote, then to wring any traffic fine money from him.

I hope I have made it clear to you why it is your civic duty to survive car crashes. If not, I am sure some other air bag on this site will.

In the meantime, I must rush off to a MADD meeting (on foot). Here in Ohio, it is possible to get a DUI for using aftershave lotion, or watching a beer commercial.

In order to promote this "kinder, gentler" version of Islam, will they allow building of churches and synagogues in the kingdom?

Well, if that isn't just the sort of unfair question an infidel would ask?

OBTW, The Pope asked the same unfair question when the Muslims in Italy got permission to build a HUGE ugly mosque in Rome. Look forward to discussing this issue with you at the annual Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, June 10th 9AM, Our Lady of Mecca Parish Hall. It's the new brick building behind the Kaaba.
    C'est la tête, Alouette.

How can you infidels be against the Religion of Peace? Surrender to the Divine Will of Allah, as revealed by The Prophet Muhammed, (May Peace Be Upon Him) and all will be peaceful.

Or else, infidel dogs, we will have to achieve the Peace of Islam which Allah commands for the world through his Prophet Muhammed, (May Peace Be Upon Him) by removing you from this life to serve peacefully as our slaves in Paradise.

What is it you infidel dogs do not understand about Peace here? As Muhammed (May Peace Be Upon Him) might have Himself Said,"It ain't rocket science. It's the Peace, stupid."

I am betting your way. As the Chinese ease the controls on their people, as they will have to do to increase productivity, there is every potential of all hell breaking loose. It is entirely possible that they will be the Soviet Union of the 21st century, and destined to the same end.

You have no idea how many of these programs there are!

A good college placement person in a good school can hook up kids all over the world. Usually however, the money (and there is a mind-boggling amount of it) goes to superannuated grad students, who in the US and Western Europe, are very often very much in the ATTA mold. There isn't a goddam thing for these people to do in their own countries, so when they eventually graduate with their advanced degrees at age 32 or 40, they are all over the West holding down technical jobs on mostly the lower levels. For example check out your state's fish hatchery program, power companies, sewage treatment plant, etc. There are lots of jobs out there which require heavy duty school papers, but which really do not pay much and are unnattractive to Americans. Also, by now a lot of the lower level supervisors are foreigners of one stripe or another and they recruit each other, rather than native talent.

They receive little in the way of background checks and because of their links to their homelands, are the natural prey of terrorist and intel recruiters alike. In regard to OKC, it smelled from day 1 like a sting gone bad. But these cover-ups are darn thorough, so it will be years of tin-foil hats before the truth of OKC, Flight 800, the Rockaway Crash, etc. will ever come out, if at all.

BTW, doesn't surprise me at all that Morris Dees is a G-Man.

    Yes.

What no one is saying is that the Shiites are among the greatest nutballs of a creed in which nutball behavior is apparently the norm. They are allied to their brother Shiites in Iran and wish the whole world to be under Sharia Law.

They promote the Islamic cults of suicide. They glory in suffering. Their major annual celebration is of a crushing defeat. If these people take over, the people of Iraq might soon be longing for the "Good Old Days" under the secular Saddam.

I heard the bright young Muslim, Zaccaria on PBS the other day. I wanted to reach into my car radio and strangle the snot-nosed clymer. Islam needs a major reform right now. A good start would be to keep Muslims on the Islamic side of the world for another millenium or so. They are oh-so-not-ready for life in Christendom.

Islam is not what Muslims say. It is not what they believe. It is what they are DOING to non-Muslims all over the world that is the problem.

We'll be discussing this terrible tragedy at the PETA meeting tonight. It's right after the Al Gore for Peace Rally.

This is truely terrible. A case of Statuary Rape. A vote for Hillary will end this abuse of representational animals once and for all.

If only the whole world would join hands and sing "Coom BYe-AH" things like this wouldn't happen. O, the Humanity.

Karbala is THE THE Shiite Holy City, for it is there that they were truly handed their nether regions in pieces a millenium or so ago. Since then, the Shiites have been on a 800-year roll ... one major defeat after another in Irag. They're the ones who really pushed this Moslem Martyrdom Deal. Getting wiped out and really really suffering became a religious goal for these folks, who conduct torture and flagellation festivals in the streets, while praying to Allah at the top of their lungs. (In Gaelic I believe they would be called "Gob-Shiites.")

They are also the Muslims who have "saints," "relics," and "holy places." All of which the Sunni Muslims are really dead set against. Somebody up there likes them, apparently, because the oil-rich Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is Shiite territory. Big embarassment to the Sunni Saudis, who are not above ocassionally indulging the Shiite penchant for suffering and martyrdom, either.

IMHO, it would be a mistake to put too many of our eggs in these calamitous cultists' basket. Just because they are losers with a weird cult of victimhood, doesn't necessarily make them like "OK" allies.

So if this is an accurate world-view (and I believe it is), what's with GWB's pledge to preserve the territorial integrity of Iraq?

Breaking the place up into Kurdistan, Shiiteville, East Jordan, North Kuwait, and South Turkey sounds right to me. Plenty of room out there for the New Palestine, too. Complete with it's own oilfield.

Turk, ya might as well face it, the Turks are going have to play the Serbian role of bad guy for a while. In the meantime, we will be subjected to reams of copy about the brave and true Kurds who are fighting alongside our boys in Northern Iraq. The Kurds have been assigned the Albanian quaint and colorful "Freedom Fighter" role here.

Once these natural-born brigands get their hands on some oil money, the Turks will really have their hands full!
