Just got a call from the hospital where I had an appointment tomorrow (a major Boston hospital) telling me that my appointment has been cancelled.I was told that mine is not an essential visit (I agree with that) and,as a result,it's been cancelled due to a proclamation by the Governor yesterday. The nurse I talked to told me that the hospital is basically now on an "all hands on deck" status...and that that started before the Governor's speech yesterday. Looks like we're in this for the long haul.

Early voting began today in Massachusetts for the Super Tuesday primary. In this state if one is registered as "unenrolled" (as I am) you can take either a Republican or Rat ballot.I'm tempted to take a Rat ballot and vote for the weakest candidate. Would anyone suggest that I vote for the President rather than vote for a Rat? Any opinions on which legitimate Rat candidate would be easiest for the President to beat in November?

Just got home from the President's rally in New Hampshire.It was outstanding! The place was packed and hundreds (or,perhaps,thousands were denied entry.Don Jr spoke...to chants of "FORTY SIX..FORTY SIX. Then came the VP and then the President.Got a couple of pictures. Basically,it was amazing in every way! New Hampshire is sure to be a battleground state so the President will surely be back..and I'll be there!

Just got my ticket for the President's rally scheduled for next month in New Hampshire. This will be my third rally...first one 8/6/16,second one 8/15/19. Hope it's not too cold...I had to wait in line for 7 hours before being allowed into the building last year!

Around 5PM Eastern,not long after sunset,I went outside and saw the moon,in a "crescent" phase and as clear as can be (not a cloud in the sky), with a small very bright light a bit above it. I waited for that light to move (assuming it was a plane) but for three minutes it didn't move a bit. Yes,I'm a city boy who never really studied science so please don't laugh...was that small bright light a planet? Yesterday I had a free loaner while my car was in the shop.Nice,sunny day...nothing to do...I decided to drive down to Greenwich,Connecticut. For those who don't know,Greenwich is an obscenely wealthy suburb of NYC that's located right on Long Island Sound.On arrival I started walking around looking at the multi million dollar mansions (boy,I wish I had studied harder in school!). I came upon a short gravel path leading up to a small dock on the Sound. Behind me came an older woman...70s,maybe even 80...who said hello to me. We got chatting and started talking about a vacant lot that...

Going to DJT Rally

About fifteen minutes ago (12:50PM Eastern) I saw four Navy/Air Force fighter jets (F-18? F-22?) flying directly overhead in the western suburbs of Boston.Anyone have any idea if they might have been part of a military flyover for the Patriots game,which is happening about 30 miles from me? Just wondering!

This morning I was in Framingham,Massachusetts,a suburb of Boston.Framingham is where Obama's illegal alien Uncle Omar was working and where he was arrested by Framingham police a few years ago.While there I saw a Framingham cop who was older and appeared as if he could have been on the force for a while.I asked him if the rumor was true that when Uncle Omar was arrested he demanded to be able to make a call to the White House. The cop smiled and said "you betcha"!

Just got a call from RNC Headquarters (202)795-3626.A pleasant sounding woman asked if it was me...I said yes.When she got two words into her routine I interrupted her and said "listen,until the Party stops the foolishness and gets behind the President and his proposals I have nothing for you".At that point she said "yes,and that's why we're kicking off our 2018..." at which point I interrupted again and said "well,I'll just wait to see what happens in '18.I have nothing for you at this time.Please pass that along". She sheepishly thanked me and...call ended.

Just curious...why was the thread about the "new Ferguson evidence" pulled? It was from the BBC (a major news outlet) and is being reported by other major news outlets.Clearly,posts that were untoward (racist,for example) could be deleted from such a thread. It stinks to high heaven but it *is* news. Just sayin'...

Just wondering...it's fun to see the DUmpster site down,reportedly after having been hacked.They claim their donor info (credit card info,etc) wasn't breached.What steps does FR take to protect Freepers' info...particularly financial info? Just wondering...and thanks!

The Boston Marathon is coming up this Monday.I've lived a 2 minutes walk from the route for years.It's always been a tradition for neighbors to go out at least for a while and watch (and cheer).Just went out today to pick up some milk and saw four copters flying low over the route over a period of about 20 minutes. Two of them had State Police markings and two had markings that I couldn't make out.I also saw a couple of National Guard Humvees as well as those bright orange markings you see on manhole covers when police have sealed...
