Comparing “Calvinist” baptism to Roman Catholic baptism is an apples/oranges comparison to begin with. Catholics believe in the real presence of the Spirit in the elements (in this case, the water); Calvinists do not. The sacrament holds the mystery of the presence for Catholics, which one cannot understand completely; whereas, for the Calvinist, the act is symbolic and must therefore be understood.
It wasn’t just that the residence was a sham - it was, BUT he used it to bill the school district in which it was located for expensive cyber schools for all of his kids, when the family actually lived in suburban DC.
That speaks to the populace all across the state, and plenty of us were angered and disappointed.
I agree that he’s damaged goods, and wouldn’t win.

No matter what her motives, no matter if she’s competent or not, there needs to be an investigation of the doctor/clinic that performed the IVF.
It’s simply NOT ethical to use the procedure on a woman who has six children already.

It was the school issue (owned a residence in a fairly small school district; didn’t live in the small house, but had the district pay for the cyber home schooling for his kids) that did him in, and it was a stupid, shady thing for him to do.

I’m in a district that NEVER goes Dem, so I didn’t expect to see many ads. Last night, the Jeremiah Wright ad aired, but I haven’t seen the coal stuff, which doesn’t affect my area, either, except on the news.
I keep wondering about the “bradley” thing - Lynn Swann lost to Rendell by a pretty big margin; he even lost P’burgh. PA is definitely hard to call...
