Well said, well said.......I wish we could REPLACE every darned one of the conressmen, both Dems & Repubs’, but who to run in their place. They may be honest to begine with,,,,but you know the old,but so TRUE saying...”power corrupts”. That bunch we’ve got in there now is as worthless as “teets on a boar”.Excuse my French,. Wut there are a few coo d Republicans that we want to be careful not to throw aout with the bath water....Ted Cruz, Mark Arubio, & a couple more, that came out of the Tea Party. That’s where the future of the Rep. party is. The old grey suits need to RETIRE & get out of the way...loosen their grip on the power....hand it over to some young go getters.

The simplest way would have been for EVERYONE to have said NO, thanks any way. Don't think the gov. should be running our health care. Don't think they should be involved AT ALL.

If necessary, for what this has cost in confusion & money, the gov. could have set up a fund to cover the people who were not able to get coverage anywhere else....pre-existing health problems, ect.

I find it interesting that Osama/Obama , had announced long ago, when he first started handing out exemptions to this group and that, and to a favorite Union which had favorably supported him during Presidential elections, and there was an article that I ran across that made me very disgusted, about like I felt when Congress saddled us with the awful so called “Health Care” bill, then on the sly, exempted themselves.....the article said that of course no Muslim would have to sign up for the Health Care bill, as it violated their beliefs. I haven't seen this referred to again. Did I just dream that or is it something that the lap dog press is deliberately keeping quiet?

I think it's far past “high time” that the “old suits” in Congress, both Repubs and Dems are “put out to pasture”. Move over and let the younger fellas have their turn. You “older” ones just don't want to TURN LOOSE OF THE POWER.....and that's what is partially wrong with Congress. The old goats want to hang onto the power....oh, and don't forget the MONEY that goes with the job. How about you try remembering the original founding Fathers who paid a dollar, so the story goes....to SERVE IN CONGRESS FOR 1YEAR, then GO BACK HOME TO THEIR JOB, rather than MAKE A CAREER out of serving in Congress...have you ever stopped and ask yourself just how in the world are some of them in hock to their eyebrows when they win their first election and they are all rolling in dough by the time they decide to retire? I wonder how that happens. When did you last hear of a Congress person who retired and went back to work at an outside job back in their home state?

So glad you showed the author who wrote the “snitty” article about ‘Sara......of all the crapola going on in this country now, there are still those who are just beside themselves at the very mention of her name.....I can guarantee you this...our country would not be in the shape it is , under this current ‘administration, if Sara were running it. She has more brains than all the so called anchors that were so willing to tear her and her family to shreds. Thanks for NOTHING mainstream media. Meanwhile a Kenyan sits in the white house .....if the lamestream media had put forth half as much effort looking into his background , rather than dogging Sara and her family , would we be stuck where we are currently??

I'm with you ..I'm sick of the language and accusations lodged against the Tea Party...another thing, I think it's long past time that the Republican Party gets rid of the “old suits” in Congress such as John McCain Etc....I just only imagine how hard it is for the old men that had all the power in their hands for so long to step back and let the young up and comers step forward with their fresh ideas and youthful outlook.....it must be “hard to swallow’ BUT I think this is all about POWER and the Old men letting go, and might I say it's high time for the Republican Party to let in some fresh air , new ideas, and some of the old leaders to move to the back of the bus, so to speak. Also, I think it's time for Karl Rove to step back...I'm also getting tired of him coming on the nightly Fox network with his “analysis of the
political news. I'm sorry, I don't think he's very relative at this time.

I understand where you're coming from. I've been a Republican for years, and very unhappy with them the last few...

I try to always read any comment made by Buchanan, a very underrated commentator:one that has been relentlessly bashed by the so called media....they are all shameful. I won’t even tell you what I think of the job they have done, covering the so called news the past few years.

If I didn’t know better , I’d think that way down deep they know that a lot of his columns and books are more truthful than they’d like to admit.

    I agree with you 100%
As far as I’m concerned this illegal”Invasion” of our land is just beyond words...thanks to the so called”Political Correctness”
that is totally out of hand. All of this talk about “a way to citizenship” is for the birds AND MOST of ALL, it cheapens our citizenship, and this Administration and others before it.....are just the same as ‘GIVING IT AWAY.....As a Proud American, my citizenship is my most valued possession. Any one who wants to be a citizen needs to get in line & do it legally. And IF they cross our border illegally that will penalize them. As far as I’m concerned that would be enough right there for them to NEVER be granted citizenship, AND this so called ‘”anchor baby” nonsense would have been stopped a long time ago.
Also, English should have been declared the official language of the USA a long time ago.

Our nation could put a man on the moon, they sure as heck could seal up our border...but there have to be people sent to Congress who have the WILL AND THE SPINE to take a stand....oh, and not base every one of there votes on how it will affect their next election.... that goes for BOTH PARTIES.

  • Why do kids need Ritalin? Sure, because they’re anxious. But WHY are they anxious???

    Molly T. to BruceDeitrickPrice
I don't know if Ritlan works or not...I'm now 80 years old and I do know I thank the good Lord there was no such thing when I went to school. I do know that no doubt I would have been a prime candidate to be put on it. I was anxious day in and day out, I felt inferior to others, was raised by older grandparents.....Grandma did her best, I guess...It bothers me that your gov. this Administration at least, butts into our private lives WAY TOO MUCH. It seems to me that our Society spends way too much time trying to “get all the kids” on a drug of some sort.....yet, it is setting a very poor example for young people , who , at a young age ,become very reliant on a pill or some other crutch to make them “so called normal”. The truth be known, we should just let kids be kids. I actually feel very sorry for the young people currently, by the way, if I say so myself, I didn't turn out too bad... I married, we had 3 good kids, and were married over 47 years when my husband died. So I say there is hope for young people.....just let them be kids, and don't push them into growing up too soon.

I’ve asked myself that question many times about Osama/Obama....and I still have no answer. I do think that he underestimates the American “inner resolve” that is in most of us....tho there are those among us who appear to be sheep...that sounds better than DUMB AS POSTS.....tho the last couple elections have made me wonder. I do think that the generation one was born in tends to make a BIG difference, I was born in 1933, so I am really getting “long in the tooth” so to speak, it is very desturbing to hear myself say that I really don’t know my country now at all.....but I love her, and I’m so very proud of her, and it BREAKS MY HEART and angers me beyond words at what is being allowed to happen to her . I trust no one that is connected in any way with this gov. It is corrupt from the top down....too bad there isn’t a way to clean Washington out and start over again, unfortunately, who would we pick to fill their positions? I’m afraid the citizenry has grown fat and lazy and are too busy deciding which teet to grab for the Free Stuff from the gov. I never thought I’d be where I am today....totally disallusioned with our World, our Country, most of all, we Human Beings.

I sure hope you ‘r not holding your breath, waiting for Congress
to act on this. I am of one opinion...it's the same one as when “he” first started talking about “Osama/Obama care” ...throw the whole thing out ...THEN, GET THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF OUR SO CALLED HEALTH CARE. It is no more than “just another power grab”, and it has stuff in there that is awful....gov. will have access to ALL your health care records, access to all your money accounts....AND ACCESS to EVERY FACET OF OUR LIVES,,,,,that, dear friends is a federal gov. that has gotten WAY TOO POWERFUL, AND SHOULD BE REIGNED IN.

I am of the old school. I prefer to refer to the uninvited who dare cross our nations boarders as just what they are...ILLEGAL ALIENS.

I wonder how many of you who are reading this are aware of how many years some of us have tried to get it down on the record that English is declared as the official language of our dear nation...now that seems a “no brainer” to me, but then a lot of what has gone on fall under that description to me. Common sense has long ago left this land, and for the most part, Iv’e come to regard my fellow Americans as no more than a herd of sheep willing to sell their nation and their soul to the guy that promises them the most freebies. What a disgusting state of affairs! In all my 80 years, I never thought things that are taking place in our country currently would ever get in this shape. Please read my tagline, then ask yourself that question.

What a wonderful picture of two leaders, the likes of which we shall never see again. I can honestly say, I have shed tears for the both of them. I like to think of their great reunion in the here after. Thank you to all the posts on this thread....the pictures and comments. Besides the sadness at dear Mrs. Thatcher’s passing, this was a wonderful moment to remember and reflect how wonderful it was back then....I fear we shall never see the likes of those two grand leaders again....I know I won’t, in this lifetime here on earth.

Just another example of how low our morals have gotten....shame on Barbara Walters....she is sure as heck old enough to know better....a typical liberal creep......somehow, they never cease to amaze me.....and I sure don't consider myself a “goody two shoes” by any stretch of the imagination, but I find myself actually feeling sorry and frankly ashamed and embarrassed for Mssssss Walters. She should have retired back when she still had a majority of the country actually thinking she was a lady....and now, come to think of it , a majority of our citizens don't find this degrading ? Guess that goes to show what I'm talking about....there used to be a line that was not crossed.....now it's “get down in the gutter , to make you feel like you belong”. Well, thanks, but no thanks.”

I don't pretend to have the ability to even comprehend all the gobbledygook in Obamacare......I've called this farce of a bill many things but none of the words I've used would be or should be allowed on this site. I HATE the darned thing...always have, always will....and people like Nancey Pelosie should be ASHAMED. Imagine having the gall to tell the American people.....who pay her way, whose voice she's supposed to be......”oh, well we have to vote on it (the bill) before we read it, to know what's in it).
Hey Mrsssss>Pelosie , does this also mean that you didn't know about the $63. per head that every member of Medicare is going to be REQUIRED TO pay EVERY YEAR? I'm sure You didn't know.....sarc.

Gosh, the black Congresswomen must be all hit with the same club. I'm sorry ,.....I shouldn't be painting all of you with such a broad brush, but honestly,if and when the others come out in defense of her ....and the likes of Sheila ....well , you could voice up and not continue to stay silent or you could actually come out, get in front of the camera and mike and denounce her......just in case it is misconstrued,as in me picking on the Democrats, let me hasten to inform you.....what I said goes for the Republicans also. When there is a member that continues to speak out in such a way as to make the rest pretty unseemly, why not speak up?
