LONDON—While filming the next Mission Impossible movie, an actor who believes Xenu stacked frozen aliens around volcanoes and then flew Douglas DC-8s over them to drop hydrogen bombs and blow them all to smithereens some 75,000,000 years ago shouted at his crew for not wearing masks and not listening to the science. "We must listen to the science, do you understand me!?" shouted the man who follows the idea that a space lord alien dude came to Earth, then known as Teegeeack, part of a sector called the Galactic Confederation, and blew up a bunch of his people, which transformed...

Khawam not only tapped her military connections in her custody battle but also invoked broader contacts as she sought greater access to her son. In emails with her ex-husband, Khawam wrote that Senator Kerry asked about the son and whether he would be coming to Martha's Vineyard in the summer of 2012. She also wrote that Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island invited the son to a summer clambake in the state, and that the son "would greatly appreciate attending this family clambake." Included in the court file is what appears to be a handwritten note from Whitehouse, writing, "I...

Friday night Anthony Weiner, Democrat from New York City and Client Number Nine’s successor in the House, had a problem on Twitter. His account, @RepWeiner, had posted on it a rather inappropriate message. The Twitter post and the image on YFrog have since been deleted. To attempt to be delicate about it, the linked photo (posted under Weiner’s YFrog account) was of a man in in somewhat tight-fitting underwear, with just that area of his body visible. Big Government has the photo if you want to judge for yourself.

The smiling photo of Gavin Newsom and the city seal emblazoned on a booklet called "The Way to Happiness" sure make it seem as though San Francisco's mayor is heartily endorsing Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard's writings. The booklet's back cover even shows a letter of support purportedly written by Newsom that echoes some of the mayor's favorite buzzwords: San Francisco is "a city of innovation" and is "the finest city in the world." But the giveaway is in the second paragraph, in which the fictitious letter from Newsom says San Francisco is home to "740,000 souls." He usually prefers...

Has Air America Radio host Janeane Garofalo begun using her show to plug Scientology? According to one cult expert, that appears to be the case. Will our favorite quasi-star soon join the ranks of distinguished followers Tom Cruise and John Travolta in this Hollywood- favored, UFO-loving religious sect? Or was Friday's segment simply a colossal blunder, attributable to a startling lack of show prep? As far as we can tell, she hasn't previously promoted the teachings of Scientology on "Majority Report", which Garofalo co-hosts with Sam Seder. Whatever the case, Cult News.com's Rick Ross is clearly concerned about Garofalo's show....

Has Janeane Garofalo officially turned against her listening audience? After a second show spent promoting Scientology, that certainly appears to be the case. Rather than take our word for it, look at what her fans have to say, here. Joining the ranks of Lyndon LaRouche sympathizer and Air America Radio co-founder Sheldon Drobny, with Garofalo, the liberal network is increasingly providing a sympathetic home for extremist sects and fringe beliefs. MSNBC is now taking notice, as well, with this from Jeannette Walls: The actress and talk-show host has done two segments on her Air America radio show “Majority Report,” heaping...

It's been awhile since we covered anything Scientology related and, I don't know about you, but I desperately need a fix. Janeane Garofalo, star of such classics as The Truth About Cats, Dogs and Why I Shouldn't Be Acting, is stirring up a bit of controversy after publicly backing the New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project on her Air America radio show, Majority Report. The program, which is based on teachings by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, helps those who worked in and around ground zero during the immediate aftermath of 9/11 heal their mind, body and spirit. While, on...

According to a just-declassified State Department schedule, (Tom) Cruise visited then-Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage on June 13, 2003, just an hour after Armitage had met with Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward. Celebrity Center for Scientology, and Kurt Weiland, Scientology's veep of communications. What was discussed? "Only Armitage can answer that question, and he's no longer here," a State Department spokesman told us. E-mails to Armitage and Cruise's rep weren't answered, nor was a call...

Where in L.A. did he do this? "Just in Los Angeles," is all Feshbach will say. Super Power is that secret. Under wraps for decades, Super Power now is being...
