This to go along with it's 1.2 BILLION rounds of ammo (22 lead slugs for each-and-every Republican) and armored checkpoint booths... nothing to worry about, tho! To the list of recent unsettling developments at DHS and other federal agencies -such as FEMA camp expansions, massive DHS ammo buys, a creepy new biometric surveillance system just being rolled-out by the FBI, and drones buzzing our backyards with cameras- we can now add the appearance across the country of not just heavily-armored military grade Humvees, but 'GLS' armored personnel carriers (APC's) such as in the picture above- 2500 of them to be...

The doctors prescribing the drugs don't know they don't do what they're meant to. Nor do their patients. The manufacturers know full well, but they're not telling. ~~snip~~ But we had both been misled. In October 2010, a group of researchers was finally able to bring together all the data that had ever been collected on reboxetine, both from trials that were published and from those that had never appeared in academic papers. When all this trial data was put together, it produced a shocking picture. Seven trials had been conducted comparing reboxetine against a placebo. Only one, conducted in...

A report today in an official outlet of the Iranian regime claims that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, will meet with members of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Ahmadinejad is currently in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly, where these reported meetings will take place. "Ahmadinejad is also set to meet American university students, artists, intellectuals and elites, including Occupy Wall Street anti-capitalist protestors, despite the ongoing efforts made by the pro-Zionist lobbies to prevent direct link between American people and the Iranian president," the Iranian organ Fars News reports. Earlier this year American professors gathered...

This city, long among the nation's poorest and most crime-ridden, is on the verge of dismantling its police department and starting anew with a force run by the county government. City officials are making the move to increase the number of officers while keeping the cost the same by averting rules negotiated with a union that city officials have seen as unwilling to compromise. Unless the union - which is skeptical of the stated motivations for the change - reaches a deal with the county, no more than 49 per cent of the city's current officers could join the new...

The election of 1972 was a contest between the liberal media and the silent majority. President Nixon won a landslide victory for re-election that year carrying every state in the union except Massachusetts by running against the elite liberal media which, in turn, did everything short of illegal activities to defeat him.The media exacted its revenge in 1973 with the Watergate witch-hunt which essentially overturned the election. The election of 1980 saw much the same dynamic with Ronald Reagan defeating the incumbent liberal President Jimmy Carter and his media lackeys. Vice President George Bush did it again in 1988 when...

By a vote of 81 to 10, the Senate on Saturday defeated legislation that would have suspended foreign aid to Pakistan, Egypt and Libya in the wake of the violent anti-American demonstrations in those countries. All 10 supporters of the bill were Republicans.

The University of California, San Diego has done it again. Last year, it announced the creation of a new diversity sinecure: a vice chancellor for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Campus leaders established this post even as state budget cuts resulted in the loss of star scientists to competing universities, as humanities classes and degree programs were eliminated to save money, and as tuition continued its nearly 75 percent, five-year rise. The new vice chancellorship was wildly redundant with UCSD’s already-existing diversity infrastructure. As the campus itself acknowledges: “UC San Diego currently has many active diversity programs and initiatives.” No kidding....

The Talk Shows September 23rd, 2012 Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows: FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Robert “Baghdad Bob” Gibbs, adviser to Obama’s campaign, who left the White House as Obama’s first press secretary, due to even the DNC media having a hard time with his lies, will gleefully lie to part-time White House spokesman Chris Wallace; Gov. Scott Walker, R-Wis., survivor of democrat lies, smears and a Obama/union failed recall attempt costing the Wisconsin taxpayers millions, who, like Romney today, had the DNC media saying was behind in the race, only to win easily...

A Wall Street behemoth plans to spend $1 billion on Tampa Bay's hobbled housing market, dispatching teams of brokers to scour neighborhoods and buy hundreds of homes a month. But rather than resell the homes, the Blackstone Group is opting to become a landlord, renting the homes to tenants including foreclosed ex-homeowners burned by the housing crash. Blackstone, one of the nation's largest private-equity firms, plans to buy as many as 15,000 homes in Tampa Bay over the next three years, many of them foreclosures, capitalizing on decimated home prices and growing rents. The shopping spree, and those of half...

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- A pay raise dispute between the Washoe County and its Sheriff's Deputies has come to a close. Sheriff Deputies had requested an increase in pay after the county cut benefits and 51 paid positions last year. Arbitrators Thursday advised in favor of the deputies, saying that their pay was behind national standards. The County was advised to give a three percent pay increase.

Americans' distrust in the media hit a new high this year, with 60% saying they have little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly. Distrust is up from the past few years, when Americans were already more negative about the media than they had been in years prior to 2004. The record distrust in the media, based on a survey conducted Sept. 6-9, 2012, also means that negativity toward the media is at an all-time high for a presidential election year. This reflects the continuation of a pattern in which negativity increases...

It's not your grandpa's Mafia anymore. The Charbonneau Commission is conducting hearings to confront allegations that wise guys and dirty politicians are in bed together in the award of public works contracts in Montreal, QB Canada, and yesterday veteran detective Mike Amato from neigboring Ontario testified about the reach of the Italian Mafia in his province as reported by CBC News: "the veteran officer says the modern-day Mafioso is dressed in business suits, works 9-to-5 hours and holds jobs ranging from banker, to accountant to bus driver," and "Mafia-controlled legitimate businesses in his region include everything from garden centres to...

A crew of rogue Teamsters shook down major Hub convention organizers, assaulted rivals and rigged union votes in a lucrative “pay-to-play” reign — including once strong-arming the state Democratic Party by threatening to obstruct a fundraiser by Gov. Deval Patrick where President Obama spoke, officials said.

A bumper sticker is making the rounds with Joe Biden's words: Osama is Dead; GM is Alive. Apparently, that resonates with democrat voters who want to believe Obama knows a thing or two about foreign relations. Not. Ambassador Stevens is Dead...Al Qaeda is Alive. Ambassador Stevens is Dead...The Muslim Brotherhood is Alive. The above are the real truth, and any chest thumping on the part of Obama is really misplaced self-congratulatory narcissism. We all know it was our special operations forces who took out Osama. We're pretty sure that Obama did not put on a black mask, take up a...

The House Ethics Committee will hold a public hearing Friday on ethics allegations against Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.). The panel has been investigating for the past three years whether Waters violated House rules by attempting to secure federal help during the financial crisis for a bank in which her husband owns stock. Waters has maintained her innocence, and the ethics probe has been weighted by problems. As the committee moved toward holding a trial for Waters in late 2010, it halted its work abruptly and placed two of its lead attorneys on administrative leave. Shortly afterward, the committeeÂ’s chief counsel...

Washington, D.C. – Today, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) named Rep. Norm Dicks (D-WA) as a Dishonorable Mention in its Most Corrupt Members of Congress report, an annual, bipartisan look at Washington’s worst. Rep. Dicks used his position as chairman of a powerful House Appropriations subcommittee to direct millions of dollars in public funds to the Puget Sound Partnership, a Washington state environmental agency headed by his son, earning him a spot in CREW’s latest report.

Breitbart News editor Joel Pollak told The Daily Caller that he thinks Attorney General Eric Holder should resign over, among other things, the Department of Justice’s collusion with left-wing advocacy group Media Matters to discredit him. Emails TheDC obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request and published Tuesday show DOJ Office of Public Affairs director Tracy Schmaler, Holder’s top press defender, and Media Matters staffers working together to attack reporters covering DOJ scandals. “On the one hand, it’s a badge of honor,” Pollak said of being one of the targets of the collusion. “The cool conservatives make the Obama...

If our corrupt media believe a Republican said something inappropriate at a fundraiser about the 47% of the American people the rest of us carry, the corrupt media attempt to destroy his campaign over it. However, if a sitting president appears to openly and brazenly break the laws surrounding the solicitation of super PAC money, this very same media dutifully report but refuse to talk about it: Speaking at a fundraiser hosted by the famous rapper and singer couple Jay-Z and Beyonce, President Barack Obama made comments, seemingly in jest, asking guests to help out his campaign against Republican nominee Mitt...
