I was a Marine for eight years. I spent those years fixing navigation systems, and teaching other Marines how to fix navigation systems. If we messed up, planes would crash, and people would die. When we joined the military, we took an oath to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States, and we gave up many of our Constitutional rights.

But the state of California just calls them illegal. Twice in the last two years, officials have revoked the liquor licenses of El Monte bars for charging patrons a surcharge to drink in the company of a woman provided by the bar. The Alcoholic Beverage Control last week took away the liquor license of the Halcon Bar on Garvey Avenue due to allegations of providing bar girls. Two years earlier, police and the ABC pulled the license from the Cancun Bar, which they said was charging $9.50 to drink a beer with a woman. Since 2008, the Alcoholic Beverage Control...

It is called Spot and Shoot. Operators sit in front of a TV monitor from which they can control the action with a PlayStation-style joystick. The aim: to kill. Played by: young women serving in the Israeli army. Spot and Shoot, as it is called by the Israeli military, may look like a video game but the figures on the screen are real people – Palestinians in Gaza – who can be killed with the press of a button on the joystick. The female soldiers, located far away in an operations room, are responsible for aiming and firing remote-controlled machine-guns...

It was meant to be the document that put a lid on the clerical sex abuse scandals that have swept the Roman Catholic world. But instead of quelling fury from within and without the church, the Vatican stoked the anger of liberal Catholics and women's groups by including a provision in its revised decree that made the "attempted ordination" of women one of the gravest crimes in ecclesiastical law. The change put the "offence" on a par with the sex abuse of minors. Terry Sanderson, president of the National Secular Society, called the document "one of the most insulting and...

When I first read about Nicolai Sennels’ work concerning therapy, which he had conducted with criminal Muslims in Denmark, I knew that it would be groundbreaking. I hope that you the reader will listen closely to what he has to say. I also had the opportunity to conduct prison interviews of Muslim detainees, which were not interrogations. Minneapolis has the largest diaspora of Somali Muslims outside of Mogadishu, and there was an overload in the county jail. I was trying to decide if I wanted to draw up a research project. Pressured for time and with too many other responsibilities...

The Navy recently changed policy to allow women on submarines. What the hell has happened to our Military? Have they lost their political correctness minds? Has the Navy not learned their lesson with the numerous pregnancies, difficulties on board between the sexes, and the unwarranted sexual harassment claims? I even witnessed such wrongful claims while women were still on tenders in the 1980's. Sure it's much worse now. Now DOD is going to put women on subs with narrow passageways where some innocent Sailor can brush up against a female? Think about it. A male Sailor walking through a two...

After considering some of the election results we have seen recently(NY-23, Coakley-Brown, Perry-Hutchison), am wondering is the real signal we are witnessing is the demise of the voting for the liberal female? Looking around, I see lots and lots of problems this country has due to liberal politicians, and females like Patty Murray, Blanche Lincoln, Barbara Boxer do not appear rock-solid for reelection. Could it be voters see that something is amiss when a female is elected? The overwhelming tendency is to be liberal for women. Look at Kay Bailey Hutchison(BTW, first clue on her being non-conservative is a hypenated...

The premium spots, now available at different types of businesses, have also been popping up in shopping areas from Germany to Singapore. A variety of reasons have been given for the measure, from protecting women from crime, to just...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is asking all female Democratic Members to attend a hastily called meeting Wednesday morning but isn’t saying what the meeting is about. WASHINGTON | The football players at Calvin Coolidge Senior High School, Mayor Adrian Fenty and a room full of cheering staff needed only one word to describe her: coach. She's believed to be the nation's only female head coach of a high school varsity football team. "While I'm proud to be part of what this all means," Randolph said, "being female has nothing to do with it. I love football. I love football, I love teaching, I love these kids....
