In Barack Hussein Obama’s America, ordinary Americans exercising their Constitutional rights are considered “terrorists”, simply because they oppose his radical agenda. Obama’s contempt for us knows no bounds. His plan to suppress us is no longer constrained by the Constitution and the rule of law. Or so he hopes. *snip* To facilitate the suppression of free speech and other Constitutional rights, the Obama White House has unveiled a new domestic terror strategy, which will be useful against Tea Party malcontents and supporters of Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann. According to the plan, local communities around the country are best suited...

Lars von Trier, who was banned from Cannes for praising Hitler, was not the only one making unsavoury comments at the film festival. Peter Fonda, the star of Easy Rider, suggested to Mandrake that he was encouraging his grandchildren to shoot President Barack Obama. “I’m training my grandchildren to use long-range rifles,” said the actor, 71. “For what purpose? Well, I’m not going to say the words 'Barack Obama’, but …” He added, enigmatically: “It’s more of a thought process than an actuality, but we are heading for a major conflict between the haves and the have nots. I came...

“HOPE AND CHANGE” PROTEST GAINS MOMENTUM ACROSS THE COUNTRY Tens of thousands of ordinary Americans are joining in a silent protest against Barack Obama by placing sticky notes on gas pumps, grocery shelves, and anywhere else that will get your attention. Clever, huh? Simple too. That’s what makes it so ingenious; it’s not destructive, it’s cheap, and anyone can do it. The campaign’s Facebook page has over 65,000 friends, as is growing by leaps and bounds. The protest has gone viral, and is getting run on various other sites as well. Good ol’ grassroots politics. So here’s the deal: Grab...

"This is one of the most important debates that we can have," President Obama said at the close of his much anticipated speech about the federal-budget deficit. He is absolutely right, although his speech didn't add much to the conversation in terms of specifics. Unlike Republican Congressman Paul Ryan's recent budget plan, Barack Obama's proposed no radical restructurings or curtailments of brontosaurus-size programs like Medicare or Medicaid. Unlike some of the other plans floating about, and there are scads of them, his didn't propose gimmicky new revenue-raising schemes like a national sales tax. Indeed, Obama didn't add much to the...

Libyan rebels announce interim government Published: March. 23, 2011 at 11:54 AM BENGHAZI, Libya, March 23 (UPI) -- Rebel leaders in Libya announced they formed an interim government bent on maintaining the unity of the country, a spokesman said Wednesday. Fighters loyal to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi are attacking rebel positions in the country despite international forces enforcing a no-fly zone under a U.N. Security Council mandate.

BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — As Libya churned with popular rebellion, Serbia's ex-president flew to Tripoli to arrange an interview with Moammar Gadhafi for a Serbian TV channel — giving the Libyan leader a platform to bluster about his grip on power.

Budget Deficits, Pension Plans, And The Seeds Of Rebellion By Joel Bowman 02/20/11 Buenos Aires, Argentina – “Is the world finally cracking up?” we wondered aloud in these pages earlier this week. From the look of events unfolding across the volatile Middle East and North Africa region, it certainly seemed so. Governments are toppling, buildings are ablaze and protesters are “speak-to-tweeting” their way to freedom…of a sort. But what about closer to home, back in the belly of the empire? It’s one thing for far-flung outposts to collapse, for the “uncivilized,” “unwashed” masses beyond the gates to storm their capital...

In the end, President Obama made a hugely important but unintended contribution to the democracy revolution in Egypt. Because the Obama team never found the voice to fully endorse the Tahrir Square revolution until it was over, the people in that square now know one very powerful thing: They did this all by themselves. That is so important. One of the most powerful chants I heard in the square on Friday night was: “The people made the regime step down.”

A House panel voted Wednesday to provide a full hearing for Idaho’s bill to nullify new federal health care laws. A motion to print the bill for further review passed the House State Affairs Committee 15-4 along party lines, with Republicans voting for and Democrats voting against pursuing the measure. The committee will decide later if the bill will go to the House floor for a vote. Canyon County area lawmakers Rep. Brent Crane, R-Nampa; acting Rep. Gayle Batt, R-Wilder, and Rep. Carlos Bilbao, R-Emmett, all voted to have the bill considered. Democrats questioned how much the bill might cost...

We have an Executive and a Legislative branch run amuck. When coupled with a preponderance of Supremes who similarly exchew original intent can there be any hope of maintaining Constitutional government?

There's an interesting article on Fox Business, but in my view it misses the point. Is the Federal Reserve violating the U.S. Constitution's separation of powers in its new purchases of $600 billion worth of U.S. Treasuries? Is the Fed engaging in an unconstitutional monetization of the U.S. Congress' out of control spending spree that is really a bridge loan to fiscal insanity? Well, yes and no.QE is stupid, but it is probably Constitutional. However, much of what The Fed has done thus far is flatly unlawful. As I have repeatedly pointed out for more than two years, The Fed is not...

When Congress adjourned early and Democrats returned home to fight for their jobs, they realized they had little to campaign on. Unemployment is still hovering around 10%, one of the largest tax increases in American history is slated to come into effect Jan. 1 and unprecedented levels of spending have caused a trillion dollar deficit. And then there's the matter of votes — from health care to cap-and-trade, the American people largely disapprove of Democrats' passed or proposed legislation. Unable to run on a positive agenda, Democrats — from David Axelrod to Nancy Pelosi and even the president himself —...

Environmental groups agreed to not fight the project in exchange for funds that could buy up grazing permits. A new sagebrush rebellion has spread across the West from Wyoming to Oregon. But this time the target is a big energy company, not the federal government. El Paso Corp., the owner of the nation's largest natural gas pipeline system, angered ranchers and county officials this summer when it agreed with two environmental groups to set up the funds. Western Watersheds Project and the Oregon Natural Desert Association agreed not to challenge the pipeline in exchange for establishing two new nonprofit funds,...

n my youth there was a popular song entitled: “Save Your Confederate Money, Boys… the South Is Gonna Rise Again!” I began thinking about it as I watched a group of talking heads discussing the future of America, as a single entity comprised of 50 states. The consensus was -- America will not survive as a 50-state nation. It is a conclusion, which I, unhappily, arrived at years ago. I am convinced we Americans are being lied to by our government. I am also convinced our economy is on the verge of collapse. Maybe it is just my natural paranoia,...

I have a feeling, just a feeling, that the West is finally reacting to the long suppressed realities of the human abomination that is Islam. In Britain the horrors extant within and without the occupied territories established in our midst surface almost daily, as an era of draconian censorship and disinformation implodes with some rapidity. This new public awareness marks a distinct sea change and reshapes our conception of how we must proceed in our fight for cultural and personal survival. We appear at last to be waging guerrilla war on the two principal weapons deployed against us — the...

Democrat control of the White House, House of Representatives and the Senate has produced an unprecedented level of political brazenness and contempt for the limitations placed on the federal government by the U.S. Constitution. As such, it has raised a level of constitutional interest and anger against Washington's interference in our lives that has been dormant for far too long. Part of this heightened interest and anger is seen in the strength of the tea party movement around the nation. Another is the angry reception that many congressmen receive when they return to their districts and at town hall meetings....

Pakistan your rebellion has come before me , And now as "Korah" you Shall! see , The cup of my wrath poured out over you , For what you have done to others now has come upon you ! Swallowed up and by disease you shall be destroyed , But tell me where is your Aaron of mercy for the Israelites I employed ?! For Truly The Angel of Death is among you now , But will this finally cause you to destroy your sacred cow ? For I AM a God of mercy and Grace , But it is...

...For there was one particular monk in that Augustinian monastery in the German forests, who may be said to have had a single and special talent for emphasis; for emphasis and nothing except emphasis; for emphasis with the quality of earthquake. He was the son of a slatecutter; a man with a great voice and a certain volume of personality; brooding, sincere, decidedly morbid; and his name was Martin Luther. Neither Augustine nor the Augustinians would have desired to see the day of that vindication of the Augustinian tradition; but in one sense, perhaps, the Augustinian tradition was avenged after...

A Whiff of Revolution http://ronbosoldier.blogspot.com/2010/04/whiff-of-revolution.html By Alan Caruba After a long series of taxes and arrogant acts that could not fail to anger the citizens of Boston, Massachusetts and nearby colonists affected by them, the American colonists finally picked up their guns and fired on the British coming to seize their store of munitions in Concord and Lexington. The American Revolution did not occur in a week, a month or a year. It came after a Navigation Act, a Stamp Act, and others called the Intolerable Acts that actually closed Boston Harbor in retaliation for the famous Boston Tea Party....
