ABC stated "it's time to move on" They're not canceling the view like they should, they're canceling Whoopie. I hope it's true.

NEW YORK, NY—After a long and fruitless search for a conservative host willing to subject herself to daily appearances on The View, producers have announced that in lieu of a conservative host, they will instead bring on an elephant piñata they can hit with sticks throughout the entire show. According to sources, the other hosts are elated at the change. "Republicans are Nazis!" said Joy Behar in the latest taping as she viciously struck the piñata with a long stick. "What do you think about that Mr. GOP Elephant? Oh, that's right—I forgot you can't talk. Because you're a dumb...

Whoopi Goldberg admonished Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her treatment of older Democrats during an appearance by the congresswoman on “The View” Wednesday. Goldberg said her excitement for AOC’s election fizzled out after the lawmaker “dismissed” older Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Dianne Feinstein. “I was very happy when you were elected because I thought it was a great step … and then you lost me,” Goldberg told Ocasio-Cortez during a polite back-and-forth, “because it felt like you were saying to people like me that I was too old and didn’t do enough.”

gaffe: a social or diplomatic blunder Kinsley gaffe: when a politician inadvertently tells the truth…saying something publicly that they privately believe is true, but would ordinarily not say publicly You know, like that time Hillary called us a basket of deplorables? That was awesome. So thank you Joy Behar, for inadvertently letting the truth slip out yesterday in an effort to be cute: Whoopie: Why is that? Why do we keep making the same mistake?Joy: Because we’re desperate to get Trump out of office. Her answer also qualifies on all counts as being too cute by half. But not in a...

Unfortunately, ABC, like every other broadcast network and most cable news outlets, is not fair and balanced Several weeks ago, ABC made a major public spectacle of firing Roseanne Barr for posting an offensive tweet about former Obama White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett. Within hours of the tweet, Barr was removed from her successful show. Of course, on the program, Barr portrayed a Trump supporting middle class woman spouting traditional American values. Her show found a huge viewing audience because it was not the usual mix of a leftist agenda with politically correct dialogue. Even though she apologized, ABC...

Her words, not mine. Alice Walker is the author of The Color Purple, The Color Purple, The Color Purple, and probably some other books. She also has some really awesome ideas about science. But first things first. Last week, Walker wrote about her deliberately factless, emotion-based reaction to the George Zimmerman verdict. It was on the Guardian‘s “Comment Is Free” blog, because of course it was: "I deliberately watched none of the Zimmerman trial, just as I have deliberately not read a draft of a new book by Jen Marlowe and others, soon to be published: I Am Troy Davis,...

Alice Walker, the author of “The Color Purple” who was also a “jurist” in the kangaroo court “Russell Tribunal on Palestine,” believes that Israel is an apartheid state. She also believes that the world is run by shape-shifting reptilian aliens who practice mind control from the Moon. I’m not sure which opinion is more bizarre. On her blog, she waxes poetic over the book that taught her so much about the aliens: that control our world: Earlier I wrote that David Icke reminded me of Malcolm X. I was thinking especially of Malcolm’s fearlessness. A fearlessness that made him seem...

Since politics as we used to know it is apparently dead and gone, what the heck? We may as well dive into this story. You’re probably already at least somewhat familiar with actress Lena Dunham of Girls fame and her unabashed lurch into the world of politics. She’s a major Hillary Clinton supporter and has done her level best to raise money for her and push the young folks toward electing the historic First Female President. But now she may be inadvertently influencing conservatives around the nation and giving GOP frontrunner Donald Trump one last push toward the finish...

Not only would Donald Trump not mind if certain celebrities were to flee the United States if he is elected president, the Republican front-runner said Tuesday that their opposition to his candidacy only increases his will to win. During a telephone interview with "Fox & Friends," Trump was asked about a tweet from Lena Dunham on Monday in which she vowed to leave the U.S. for Vancouver if he is elected. Trump's response: "Well, she's a B-actor. You know, she has no — you know, no mojo."

Rosie and Whoopi too. Frequently naked TV actor and horrific human being, Lena Dunham, is worried. Donald Trump is running for President and, if he wins, it will spark a global catastrophe or something. Honestly, we’re not entirely sure what she thinks is going to happen, and we don’t really care. She’s deep in the tank for Hillary, so it’s a safe bet she harbors the same fears about anyone who would dare usurp her chosen queen. Because of her deep-seated fears, she’s joined a growing list of Hollywood leftists who are incentivizing a Trump presidency by promising to leave...

Lena Dunham vowed “100 percent” to move to Canada if GOP frontrunner Donald Trump is elected president at a New York Women in Communications event on Monday in Manhattan. Speaking at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria hotel for the 2016 Matrix Awards, announcing emcee Andy Cohen asked Dunham what she would do if she woke up and was a man, according to Bustle. Dunham, who was at the event receiving an award, responded saying she would kill herself. Cohen then reportedly asked what she would do if she woke up to find that Trump had been elected president. The Girls creator...

Donald Trump has a message for celebrities who say they'll leave the country if he's elected president: Pack your bags. The Republican presidential front-runner said Tuesday on 'Fox & Friends' that purging the United States of Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopie Goldberg and Lena Dunham would be a pot sweetener if he wins the White House. 'We'll get rid of Rosie? Oh, I love it. Now I have to get elected!' he said during an early morning phone-in interview. 'Now I have to get elected because I'll be doing a great service to our country. I have to. Now it's much more...

The Debate, summarized in one tweet:I really have nothing to add.Meanwhile, it appears there will once again be a parade of celebrities leaving the country if Trump wins. This time the émigrés will include Whoopie Goldberg and Al Sharpton. I fail to see the downside. Here’s my favorite “declaration†– from Raven-Symonè, who I guess is another of The View’s co-hosts: “My confession for this election is if any Republican gets nominated I’m gonna move to Canada with my entire family.†– Town Hall Wow, she doesn’t even require it be Trump, nor that he actually get elected. Congratulations Canada!...

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Jerry Sandusky wore bright red jail garb on Tuesday, looking like a quarterback in practice, untouchable and protected. Except Sandusky was about to get hit, a 30- to 60-year sentence coming from Judge John Cleland here at the Centre County Courthouse stemming from 45 guilty counts of sexual molestation. It's enough, given Pennsylvania's parole guidelines, to keep the 68-year-old Sandusky confined to prison for life. [snip] Sandusky dismissed everything presented, every shred of evidence, every emotional witness-stand session. Three of his former victims mustered the courage to come and address him directly, and he responded with a...

WINFIELD - W. Va. Ashlee Liebert of Whitmore Lake, Michigan and the 12-year-old girl were found in a parked car in a remote part of Cross Creek Road near Buffalo. Putnam County Sheriff Mark Smith says it's actually a stroke of luck the two were found. While deputies were taking a missing person report on the young girl, there was a report of a suspicious car on Cross Creek Road in Buffalo. According to the criminal complaint, inside the car deputies found Liebert naked with the 12-year-old girl. The two had sex. "They were going back to Detroit, and had...

When I first encountered the literary classic Lolita, I was the same age as the infamous female character. I was 15 and had heard about a book in which a grown man carries on a sexual relationship with a much younger girl. Naturally, I quickly sought out the book and devoured the entire contents on my bedroom floor, parsing through Humbert Humbert‘s French and his erotic fascination for his stepdaughter, the light of his life, the fire of his loins — Dolores Haze. I remember being in the ninth grade and turning over the cover that presented a coy pair...

According to Chris Matthews, Sarah Palin is the most divisive figure since Abraham Lincoln "caused" the Civil War. In an odd historical analogy, the Hardball host marveled at Palin's bus tour: "Leading off tonight, civil war on the right. Not since the election of Abraham Lincoln has a Republican caused such a war." The anchor frothed, "Sarah Palin went right to New Hampshire, serving as a human grenade, blowing up his announcement by saying Romney's health care is a total violation of Tea Party beliefs."

Whoopie Goldberg and the ladies of ABC's The View stepped in it again - this time calling a legitimate protest movement an act of terrorism. According to Goldberg, the National Opt Out Day and the We Won't Fly website are terrorists because they would have impacted airline travel. While admitting her position could be a bit far-fetched, she said, "...to me, that's like an act of terrorism." Even Elizabeth Hasselbeck, the lone conservative on the show, appeared to agree. But Goldberg and the other hosts of The View seemed to have forgotten what Americans heard throughout the eight years of...

A Mankato couple have been charged with repeatedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl who was staying with them. The Free Press of Mankato says 27-year-old Raymond Jay Schroer and 24-year-old Katherine Lynn Olson were each charged Friday with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors say the girl had been staying with the couple since June. The girl told police she loved the couple and that they all planned to live together when she was old enough.
