HOW TO get rid of visceral fat: This type of body fat is deemed harmful because of where its stored in the body - the abdominal cavity - so what can you do to reduce it? Making changes to diet has been shown to help, and following a particular eating pattern has proven effective.
Visceral fats location within the abdominal cavity means it surrounds vital organs such as the liver, stomach and intestines. If visceral fat is left to build up here, a persons risk of developing serious health problems, like type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, is increased. Related articles
Eating a poor diet has been linked to visceral fat build up, so making changes to the food you eat is advised.
When it comes to an overall diet to follow, a particular eating pattern has been shown to help get rid of visceral fat - intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern that involves cycling between periods of eating and fasting.

One low-carb diet which has proven particularly effective at getting rid of visceral fat is the ketogenic diet.
Ketogenic diets drastically reduce carb intake and replace it with fat, putting the body in a natural metabolic state called ketosis.
Yep, you’re in!
Big Keto could include the American Cattlemen’s Association.
Nothing wrong with that!
Worked for me, was HgbA1C- 6.7
Now 5.5, lost 25#
I would be ecstatic to be at an A1c of 6.7.
lol.
Congrats, no diabetes for you!

“Big Keto could include the American Cattlemens Association...Nothing wrong with that!”
That’s fair, but they’re in a defensive posture, with the Left trying to put them out of business. They’d be fine with the status quo...the Left NEVER is fine with the status quo.
Wow!
You deserve a nice T Bone every week.
My wife joined me in the Keto habit and she has been doing really well too, it is so important to have the support.

You’re welcome. The individual stories here are really heart-warming, and there have been so many. People on the outside, who think the diet cannot be maintained because it eliminates things like candy and pizza, often don’t understand the death spiral that awaits obese people when they develop diabetes (heart disease, nerve damage, amputations, etc.). But victims in that situation often do understand where their lives are going.
And given that path, ever increasing doses of Insulin in conjunction with badly deteriorating health...staying on the Keto diet to avoid all that is not quite as hard, at least for them.
There is a pretty good documentary on Amazon Prime that covers fasting and some of the benefits.
lol
How does eating FAT help your arteries/heat?
I like it!
Wrong wrong wrong. Saturated fat is not unhealthy. That is a huge myth and very outdated. The major traditional medicine proponents are still preaching the horrible poorly researched mantra from the 80s and 90s which is when the weight problems in America began!
Saturated fat can be very healthy as long as you arent eating an inflammatory diet. ( lots of sugars and grains). Grass fed beef and butter have the same Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratio as salmon.
Also it is blood sugar and insulin level that cause fat storage.
Finally, keto does not mean just eat a bunch of bacon. I means eat lots of vegetables and healthy fat and protein, but cut most sugar and starchy carbs.
Two Fit Docs is a YouTube channel, they have tons of great videos, and are constantly sharing research studies.

A great channel for intermittent fasting and keto
Mayo’s verdict outs them as overrated quacks.
I usually eat one meal a day and maybe a snack of cheese or blueberries and whipped cream. Skipping a meal or two is not hard when your body is in full ketosis.
I've lost 22 lbs since mid-September eating this way.
My wife actually started a couple of weeks before me.
She has been and still is eating 1200-1400 calories a day and I have been and still am eating 1450-1550 calories a day. We also subscribe to a magazine, “Eating Well” which have given us some excellent receipes. She has also done well in terms of weight loss.
This summer we also worked in our garden for two hours a day.
Eating FAT per se doesn’t necessarily help, but minimizing the carbs, which lessens insulin, minimizes irritation/inflammation, and inflammation causes plaqueing in coronary arteries, obstructing them.
You, and I, and everyone else on the face of the planet are descended from THOUSANDS of generations of people who ate saturated fat every chance they could get.
First, here's a book you might want to check out, in reference to your question:
