This reminds me of a photo I've been searching for since Election Night. On one of the FR election threads, there was a photo posted of Donald Trump in his private quarters at the Trump Tower just after he learned that he had won the election. He was sitting in a chair by himself with that exact same expression on his face you see here - just very thoughtful and taking it all in. You could sense that this was the moment he realized that his life had just changed forever and that the weight of the world was about to be placed on his shoulders. It was a very somber and revealing photo and for some reason I can't seem to find it on the web anywhere.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He probably is taking whiz and enjoying doing it on The People’s House.
He has turned his back to We the People just like always.
So true.
If there is one thing I hate, it’s the dramatic photos of Presidents. Its childish and contributes to the whole thing that I call the cult of the presidency. That he must be in direct contact with every fighter pilot by radio, that every banker waits his commands, that everyone waits breathlessly for the captain at the helm to keep the lights turned on.
Its pure silliness.
My favorite is when we get treated to how the heavy responsibility “ages” them. Take any man late 40s or early 50s, and take photos 8 years later, you’ll notice aging and gray hair. The idea that the president has is stressed is childish worship. He can have the best of food, prepared by a top chef, anytime he pleases. He is protected and never has to give a thought to the personal safety of he and his loved ones. He doesn’t need a CCW, a wallet, or a keychain. If he has a cell phone it’s just for his entertainment. He has free healthcare that will be the most reviewed and best humanity can offer. He can snap his fingers and get a massage, a steambath, or a woman half his age to pleasure him. He can decide to take a vacation anytime he pleases, anywhere he pleases, for as long as he wants.
A presidential vacation happens every couple of months and each one is an experience most people will never have, or might have once in a lifetime.
They have zero money worries and all the ones that arrive poor leave fabulously wealthy. He has a staff of hundreds and generally doesn’t have to spend all day around his nagging wife. His nagging wife has her own staff to keep her well occupied.
In short, a president lives a life that would astonish and embarrass Louis XIV. Weight of the world aging him ...my hind end.
The White House is half the size of his condo and is likely the most run down place he’s ever lived. And I bet the USAF is getting headaches after the reputation he had for being absolutely anal about the perfection of his 757.
lol. I was thinking the same thing.
He just doesn’t look comfortable all dressed up in a suit and tie.
“”Who the heck is that on the lawn? “ “
Melania, get the hot water. There are kids playing near the rose bushes agai.
+1.
You’ve got me curious. Be sure to post that photo when find it. Cheers.
You know it. AF 1 will be spit shined before he takes his first flight.
I’m probably the only other person that saw that episode, that’s a pretty obscure reference man !
Hopefully this pic wasn’t staged like all the other ones like it going back to camera happy Jack Kennedy.
That's pretty much what he's been doing to us pee-ons for the past 8 years.
My son, the "Ace" in my FR name is the same way about the ERJ 200 he captains. I don't blame him and neither did my dad, who was a professional pilot as well. Now, I might add, "Ace" is a very polite "absolute anal." Except if you mess with his crew! (I taught him that.)
