Rampant overspending and over-taxing by the clowns in Austin, very little effort to control the borders, and this ditze wants to waste time with something that probably wouldn’t pass and that would be largely unenforcable in any event.
Simple question. How do they intend to decide if a dog is a pit bull or pit bull mix?
don’t blame the pitties, blame the owners...
“If, however, the bull has had the habit of goring and the owner has been warned but has not kept it penned up and it kills a man or woman, the bull must be stoned and the owner also must be put to death.” Exodus 21:29
That should take care of most of the problem.
Texas nanny statism?

Exactly! Who will be the one to decide what mix a dog is? That’s WAY too broad, I can see all sorts of issues with that.
Banning pitbulls was tried in MA/CT. It wasn’t possible because pitbulls are not a specific breed and were too complicated to define.
I have never heard of any bread that attacks a human as anything but a Pit Bull, I mean, would you really want to say “I was attacked by a Wienner dog” or a “I was attacked by a Beagle” or God fogive “I was attacked by a Bassett Hound”....nope, it has to be a Pit Bull...
“dont blame the pitties, blame the owners...”
I would assume then that you would go along with the owner of a dog that killed being charged with murder just as if the owner had killed?
I’m guessing NOT...
Humans have carnivores for pets. Adapt, equip, and overcome.
Pit bulls are not any better or worse.
All of them stop when you load them up with lead. The surface of this planet is not safe. Cope.

Total BULLSHIT!
LOL A pack of weiner dogs!
Nothing wrong with pit bulls. Pete the Pup got along fine with the child actors in the Little Rascals.
Its just the way they are trained, and if the individuals who train pit bulls to be vicious can’t own them, they’ll find some other dogs to abuse.
Perhaps instead of just a vulgarity you might actually post something coherent that someone could debate.
Another simple question. What if we banned all bully breeds? That would probably go over like a lead balloon.
You taking over for Chet99?
Some people will back it, I’m sure, and some will not. And, it won’t solve the problem, which is really just irresponsible owners, which no one seems to be banning.
Ditto.
Because those Boston terriers are vicious dogs. (yes. bully breed) My statement was a bit tongue in cheek. I have an Amstaff and have learned a bit about pits since I was adopted by her.
