I hope the Rangers can come back from this lopsided 16-7 loss, but I still have to take my hat off to a masterful performance by Alber Pujols.

Thank the Phils for letting this demon team into the postseason.

The 1926 Ruth homers were against the Cards, Ruth was caught stealing for the final out of game 7 and the Yanks lost the game 3-2 and the series.

Ask Brad Lidge. Pujols can reach into an entire city’s chest and pull their heart out.

That first HR he hit today was one helluva blast, smashing into the facade of the 2nd deck with incredible force. Who knows have far that thing would’ve traveled.

Maybe this will shut all of the wannabe athlete sports writers for a while.

I doubt it though.

That is an amazingly stupid comment. Hopefully you just forgot your sarcasm tag. There has never been a player like Albert Pujols.

Where is Ryan Howard now?

Right. Ryan watched the game on TV.

You think Pujols will talk to the press today now that she’s not butt hurt?

As a Brewers fan, it makes me feel a little better about the beating the Cards gave us. I really thought the Rangers were going to pound the Cards.

Name Baseball`s Triad Trio:

1. The Sultan of Swat

There has never been a player like Albert Pujols.

There've been a few, but not many. Guys that combined great power, a high batting average, and clutch performances. Lou Gehrig comes to mind (as far as other 1st basemen go).

I like both teams.

Rangers can force a Game 7, it's all about pitching.

The Rangers have none.

Don’t forget his clutch defensive play in Game one that saved a run.

I think he was making a joke. Howard can’t walk (he swings at 3-0 balls and pops out) and starts his 125mil contract next year. The Phils are stuck with him till 2017. Meanwhile King Albert will be shopping this game to all of MLB next year.

Of course not, that was the pre-PED era.
