DEVO? I love John Prine, But not for the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME.
Def Leppard isn’t in?
‘Yes’ on:
R.A.M.
Nicks
The Cure
DEVO
LL Cool J
Rundgren
Prine
The Zombies
Not a big fan of Rundgren’s music as much his work producing The Tubes.
One of my all time favorite bands (pre 1980s)
“Photograph” is an awesome song.
Roxy Music should be a no-brainer.
Oh, boy! A Kraftwerk reunion! Anyway, the rocknroll hall of fame is a dump for installing Joan Jett. Nothing wrong w her but she rode in on one hit song. Dont mention the runaways, either.
Radiohead, whatever. Def Leppard, dont waste my time. Stevie Nicks, no. Rage Against the Machine, no. The Cure, whatever. Devo, maybe. Janet Jackson, a waste of time. Kraftwerk, whatever. LL Cool, whatever. Roxy Music, ok. Todd Rundgren, no, one worthless human. John Prine, definitely, despite his politics, MC5, who? Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, yes, and the Zombies yes.
Love John Prine
Dear Abby, dear Abby
My feet are too long
My hair’s falling out and my rights are all wrong
My friends they all tell me that I’ve no friends at all
Won’t you write me a letter, won’t you give me a call
Signed bewildered
DEVO is one-off from being a novelty act. I would classify Kraftwerk as Electronica, rather than Rock and Roll (even if they predate the term).
The Yess: Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, Devo and the Zombies.
Chaka Kahn? Chaka Kahn?
Guess Who’s not in the hall of fame....
John Prine is really too good for the Hall of Fame.
Runt and the Zombies are way overdue. Def Leppard is probably a shoo-in. I’d like to see Rufus featuring Chaka Kahn make it too. They were very innovative and influential in their day.
Ah, Kraftwerk. I still have my LPs around somewhere...
