Lori Petty (Tank Girl, A League of Their Own) Trashes Americans: ‘Average IQ in Amurrrikkka Is 99’
Breitbart ^ | May 15, 2020 | DAVID NG

Hollywood actress Lori Petty — who has starred in Orange Is the New Black, Point Break, and the critically acclaimed Tank Girl — has insulted Americans across the board by claiming that they have low IQ’s.

“I believe what we have forgotten is that the average IQ in Amurrrikkka is 99,” Petty tweeted on Friday. She said that a third of Americans, including President Donald Trump, have IQ’s lower than that. “A third, plus the murder-in-charge, I guess, lower than that. So, in the house I happily stay, besides kissing y’all.”

It remains unclear what spurred Lori Petty’s acrimonious tweet, but the actress has been shaming quarantine protestors and people who choose not to wear masks in public

And it’s falling.

Government schools suppress critical thinking.

That’s about right. But unfortunately, average IQ in the U.S. is declining and will continue to decline for reasons that will get you fired if you let slip that you understand them.

“IQ is an almost anecdotal measure”

No, it’s empirical.

IQ is a real measure of intelligence. Assuming the person tested can even read. That is the base assumption.

But there are multiple cognitive tests that can measure IQ without reading.

Interesting...I can just visualize her standing off to the side, etc. She is someone I greatly dislike.

I don’t believe those numbers. I don’t believe science has an accurate enough weight to measure these things.

“Now, as to President Trump’s IQ—I have no idea, but common sense says that low IQ people don’t tend to be, and more importantly, stay rich. But this is typical of the left. Anyone who disagrees is not only immoral, but they’re dumb as well.”

I would wager that even the “dumbest” President had an IQ no lower than 115 (roughly a full standard deviation above average), at least when they entered office. No one stupid could possibly get that job. Misguided, yes. Ignorant of history and simple common sense (here’s looking at YOU, Jimmy), yes. Evil (Obama), yes. But not stupid.

As for Trump, he isn’t just rich and he didn’t just stay rich - he BECAME rich, long before his father died and left him a tidy amount of assets. He did this starting with a $1 million loan in the Manhattan commercial real estate market - the single most competitive market on the planet - against some true geniuses armed with tens or hundreds of millions of dollars and contacts that made his (at the time) look like nothing. Far from being stupid, he’s among the most brilliant men who have ever sat in the big chair in the Oval Office.

Oh, and then he, as a complete political novice, took on 16 professional Republican challengers and soundly trounced them all, and put icing on that cake by beating a very well-known, better financed candidate with the entire media and most of the political class in her corner. Stupid people not only don’t do that, they CAN’T do that.

As opposed to Lake Woebegone, where every child is above average?

Breitbart goes digging for stupid comments like this in hopes of generating a controversy.

I'd just as soon leave Lori Petty in her well-earned obscurity.

It's a quarter century after Tank Girl tanked and nobody's heard from Lori Petty since.

Was it really worthwhile dredging her up after all these years and acting like she has any importance just to post stupid comebacks to somebody who doesn't matter at all?

I don’t know much about Petty’s other acting exploits, but she did a great job in “A League of Their Own.” Of course, being able to credibly pretend to be someone else and do things that you never have, or never could, do yourself is fyine for people in that profession, but it qualifies her (and others like her) for exactly nothing. She’s entitled to her opinion, but that doesn’t make her correct. I sense that she (again, like many in her profession and in sports) thinks that her success in her chosen field makes her something of an expert in other areas - and that is demonstrably untrue even for people who are literally rocket scientists, brain surgeons and even Nobel Prize winning physicists. You’re good at what you’re good at, and for most people, not much else. I’m willing to bet that she can’t even change the oil or tires in her car, let alone do even 10% of what it takes to analyze the intelligence of a person who has accomplished FAR more in life than she could ever hope to do.

Note that Russia and Israel are below 100 - which belies what the scientists of both countries have been able to do over the decades. Also note that (not so coincidentally) both have substantial Moslem populations. Just sayin’. :>)

Given that she demonstrated that she thinks only one-third of the population is of below-average IQ rather than the actual one-half, she demonstrates that she herself is in that lower half.

LOL. That's exactly what I was thinking. If the median IQ is 99, wouldn't half (not a third) be below that?

But, I'm not exactly a mathematician, so maybe I'm missing something... Then again, she doesn't sound like a mathematician, either.

Correction to my post:

If the median average IQ is 99,

That might be a mean average. Still, half below that number, half above.

100 is the average for the European descended. America’s is actually in the mid-90’s thanks to the influx of non-Europeans since the turn of last century. And 100 isn’t even what you’d call smart.

I would say that the person scored a 98 ASVAB on a night when the recruiting sergeant had to drag him to the Holiday Inn because he was sick with the flu.

Petty but not wrong.

From a purely genetic POV, Donald J. Trump shares a lot of the same genes as his uncle John G. Trump who was a straight up genius. Given President Trump's career and ability to constantly do end-runs around the people who underestimate him, I'd say his IQ is quite a bit north of average.

What an utterly IGNORANT & arrogant Marxist globalist Kool-Aid saturated idiot.

Trump’s IQ is 156+ And one doesn’t have to be a psychologist to see he’s persistently brilliant and an excellent creative problem-solver. What seditious jerk-wads. Sheesh.

Some police depts do not like to accept policemen who have IQ’s above 80. They claim they get bored & get into trouble too easily. That’s always shocked me—though it is a bit logical.

Seems to be that policing requires some tricky decisions in traumatic fast paced deadly situations. The idea that relatively low IQ folks are making such critical decisions with firing guns is more than a lot concerning.

Maybe they need high emotional IQ. LOL.

I assume Lori Petty is planning to vote for the high-IQ Joe Biden?

Maybe she will give Joe Bite-Un several free hair smells & half a dozen free gropes just for kicks.
