Paraphrasing - Fox News found out Mary Mapes was sending protected letters to a Prisoner in a High Security Prison in Colorado. Also what was said is Mapes holds strong Liberal views.

Well, this is just excellent! My bet is that there are hundreds of government and military people who have had run-ins with Mapes and Rather, and they are going through their files right now.

Jed Babbitt was on my local radio station this morning and said that one friend of his at the Pentagon, when asked about the story, let out a sigh and then said "Jed, I thought I was too sinful a person to be allowed to live long enough to see this day." HA!

Saw Wolf Blitzer at 5 EDT today. He had To Quinn, former WH Counsel to Clinton and former uS Att't Joe Degenova. Degenova said this rose to and above the level of Watergate. you had someone trying to rig a federal election using forged docs. A special prosecutor was needed NOW. And He would be willing to take on the job.

Quinn was nervous and very elusive. he tried to compare this to outing Wilson.s wife and he said the State of the Union msg about the uranium was a forged document. Blitzer cut him off at the knees and wouldn't let him continue the diatribe. On topic he had no answer except that this should be handled in house by CBS. DeGenova ate his lunch and Blitzer watched as he did it.

The DNC is very very worried where this might go. And they have no real answers to the questions presented.

I'm very sure it would be the prison warden who wrote the letter to CBS revoking her access to the prison. You can bet Rather most certainly was not involved in leaking this.
