The police must have permission to arrest her?

Nothing to see here folks, just another Dimocrat acting like she thinks the plutocrat class behaves - thanks to the example of the likes of the Chappaquidick Kid.

Prosecute her to the full extent of the law. Of course, since this is Washington, D.C., a Dem can get away with anything. The officer was lucky she did not murder him.

If it had been a Republican, Pelosi would be calling for the Congressman's head and blaming Bush for the whole mess to boot.
To: ncountylee
Capitol Police were considering Thursday whether to ask the U.S. attorney's office to file charges against McKinney,... They damn well better arrest her. Had this been an ordinary citizen, he/she would have been arrested and hauled off immediately. There would have been no 'considering' involved.
There cannot be one set of laws for politicians/LEO's and another set of laws for private citizens.

Another case of "Do YOU know WHO I am?"

["I would not make a big deal of this," said Pelosi, D-Calif.]
Of course Pelosi doesn't want a big deal made of this because one of her squirrely Dems will be charged with criminal assault if the law is followed.

Of course you wouldn't you ignorant slut. While McKinney is a wack job and always has been, Pelosi is a two-faced wench who needs to keep her surgically corrected mouth shut so people won't know just how ignorant she really is.

Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi called the incident "a mistake, an unfortunate lack of recognition of a member of Congress." She added that the police officer was not at fault. "I would not make a big deal of this," said Pelosi, D-Calif.
Another pro-crime Democrat. She apparently thinks the officer made a mistake.

I heard tonight on FOX that some congressional aide said McKinney struck him in like 1998. He did not file a report because associates said it could ruin his career. But it's the same M.O. And we all know folks use a familiar modus operandi. Sounds like Ms. McKinney is so full of herself she is more important than the law she has taken an oath to protect and defend?

My son said he believes there is some kind of law about not being able to arrest a Congresscritter while Congress is in session.

"How many officers would have to be punched before it becomes a big deal?" is a bad response from hastert's office...
bunch o' windbags in DC
To: Shady
This may also qualify as a "hate crime" if the officer was White. McKinney is a notorious racist. They should prosecute the bitch to the fullest extent of the law.

I think Alabama congressmen are immune to traffic tickets while in session.
