No, she would be calling for a full investigation to get to the bottom of this "Culture of Violence" that represents the Republican party.
You would hear ever Dem saying on the news "Culture of Violence".

Cynthia McKinney
The rep who cries racism.
By Chris Suellentrop
Posted Friday, April 19, 2002, at 10:45 AM ET

But being the Girl Who Cried Racism means that people will also roll their eyes at the legitimate slights that the first black Congresswoman from Georgia has faced. In August 1993, during her first term in office, a Capitol Hill police officer tried to prevent her from bypassing a metal detector, as members of Congress are allowed to do. For years afterward, The Hill reports, the Capitol Police pinned a picture of McKinney to an office wall, warning officers to learn her face because she refuses to wear her member's pin. (And because officers are innately suspicious of a black woman with braided hair and gold shoes.) Five years later, she blasted White House security after guards thought her 23-year-old white aide was the congresswoman.

I wonder if she would punch the police on Mars?

"Make the critters pass through just like the rest of us."

There are some bars, e.g., Harry Carey's in Chicago Midway, where I have to show my ID to get a beer. I'm 59 years old; unfortunately, I can't pass for 18. Put every congressperson thru the security apparatus, even the privileged ones.

I just saw a clip of Pelosi responding to this. I guess it is a "capitol" offense to for the officers not to recognize the royalty and bow as they pass.

McKinney Apologizes (Sort of) for Punching Cop

The office of Representative Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.), issued a response to reports of her punching a Capitol police officer: "I had an unfortunate confrontation with a space creature that had assumed the form of a Capitol Hill Police Officer. I feared I would be abducted. Naturally, I fought for my life. Now, people are saying it really was a cop. Well, I'm sorry, but I wasn't just gonna stand there and let myself be probed. As a person of color, I feel I have already suffered enough. It's time that we close out the Jim Crow era and ensure that reparations are paid to every African American."

Yeah, but Article I, Section 6 doesn't say anything about tasering her arrogant fat ass until she has a wyld wooly perm rivaling anything to ever come out of Mr. Ray's Hair Weave.
---
Certain Congressmen and Senators might be uncomfortable with the precedent it set.
Not saying it wouldn't make for a fun evening...
Actually, it sounds like something that should be on pay-per-view.

The cop should sue her for violating his civil rights. He could also claim a hate crime, since she keeps calling him "white".
