What’s going on here? If she wants to be in the race, it would be good to declare soon, in my opinion.

IMO she is gracefully exiting the spotlight so as not to take anymore attention away from other Repub candidates. If she were going to run I don't think she would end the tour early.

Why?

So you and state-controlled media have more time to attack her?

Waiting is of strategic advantage to her, and strategic disadvantage to her opponents, Democrat or Republican.

So you think that she should give up her strategic advantage to make if "fair" for your candidate-of-choice?

If your candidate-of-choice needs Sarah Palin's help, they're going to lose anyway, then you put your money on the wrong candidate.

From another freeper: BTW the simple answer to why Palin is silent is because Todd Palin has to be there to manage his boats and fulfill his obligations as a license holder in Bristol Bay.The family simply has to be in Alaska. When the Salmon have finished their run in the bay and production of fish moves off Todd’s grounds, the Palin’s can continue their tour. There’s nothing unusual about this, anyone who’s been paying attention knew it was going to happen. Track Palin is supposed to be taking over, but it’s not his yet, Todd still holds the license. If they don’t fish their grounds this year, they lose them.

Well, I'm glad we got your opinion. How soon would satisfy you?

Sarah could declare her candidacy on Christmas Eve, and she'd have $25 million by New Years Day.

Right, and Ronald Reagan was a dummy for not declaring until Labor Day.

She’s letting the other runners clobber each other.

I think she took this time to help her decide whether to run or not.

I think she chose not.

Meanwhile she did good things for America.

They have a commercial fishing business here in Alaska. They are most likely in Dillingham, picking salmon.

She IS the race; there is nothing she needs to do at this point other than what she is doing:

Making ugly media heads explode daily.
