For those who don't want either Romney or Perry, even if you'd never vote for either.

Perry, because he understands that energy creates jobs
and that Goebbels Warming is a phony mess.

“I know the temptation here is to grab hold ...”

Point well made!

I just wanted a little “flash poll” and I got it, but there is a lot of time.

I do want to see Mitt knocked off the top slot ASAP, because that would open things up. For example, if Perry takes over now, it will be easier to knock Perry off later, as opposed to the cement that will form around Romney if Perry does not bump him HARD before this November.

OMG....imho, allowing Mr. Obama to be re-elected is allowing the complete destruction of the America intended by our Founders. I pray we will find a candidate who will help get America back on the right track. I am not committed to any candidate as of this time. But, I sincerely believe that neither, Mr. Romney or Mr. Perry, would inflict the severe damage to America as Mr. Obama would continue to do. May God protect us from the reelection of Mr. Obama.

I love it when people quote obnoxious liberal columnist Molly Ivins who first dubbed Perry "Gov. Goodhair."

Indicates who is the REAL RINO.

With all due respect, if you folks don’t want Obama in there again, then don’t ask me to vote for another bucket of horse sweat. It ain’t happening.

Ronald Reagan once said, “I didn’t leave the Democrat party. It left me.”

After McCain, and now with some of the rectums they’re lofting this season for me to vote for, I will say again, “I didn’t leave the Republican party. It left me.”

If you want Perry, then by all means nominate him. Just don’t blame me because you can’t shove the guy off on many of us.

The author of the Trans-Texas Corridor, and a person who refuses to clamp down on the border with Mexico, is not fit to hold the highest office in the land.

We have the biggest opportunity in a generation to place an actual Conservative in the White House. If you want to push Perry off on us instead, I can’t stop you.

I’m not in.

LOL!!!

“Perry. I would hold my nose and scrub myself clean with a Brillo pad after getting home but I would vote for him over Romney.”

Followed by a final full body rinse of pure Clorox.

Ditto. Perry seems to lack due consideration for property rights.

Perry. He’s certainly not the one who would be my first pick, but frankly, there’s NO way I’d vote for Romney, ever, so it would have to be Perry.

I’d go with the one who looks like Blago without the cabbage patch peepers.
But I wouldn’t like it.

Why do people keep insisting that Perry is even slightly more electable than any of the other candidates.

“Conservatives hate Perry” does not mean that swing voters in states that we sometimes lose like Perry.

Perry appeals to rank and file - older, more female - Republicans in the South.

Perry appeals to voters who always vote for Republicans.

Reagan won 49 states in 1984. Reagan won California and Pennsylvania both time. The Connecticut Bush also won California and Pennsylvania.

Texas Bush didn’t win California or Pennsylvania either time. Barely squeaked to victory.

And Karl Rove thinks that the Texas Governor model is a good one. Yes, if you’re a Democrat, you want Karl Rove to put his 300 max EV candidates up there every time.

“Mmmmmmm Alan Keyes....”:

Absolutely. No ifs and buts.

I love that man. But the fix was in when idiot Bush won the primaries.

Obamao, Mittens, Perry...

Straight to it
A drink first
Dinner and a movie

It all ends the same way regardless. Albert Einstein- “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.

If Willard had a Texas swagger, and channeled Huckabee’s religion, he’d be Rick Perry. I will not vote for either one.

I will vote for Palin, period.

BUT just in case, I am thinking of legally changing my name to “Not Obama” and then run as a write-in.

After I am elected president there will be a long list of changes.

-Anything with Obama’s signature will immediately become null and void.

-I would immediately bring our troops home and place them on the our boarders with orders to shoot at will any and all trespassers.

-We will not pay one dime to repair or rebuild anything we have been forced to destroy.

-Places like Iraq will be sent a bill for services rendered. They will pay on our schedule and a failed payment will result in destroying anything we have already rebuilt or paid for. Their oil will become ours.

-ANY country will oil that we have been forced to fight will become property of the U.S. and any survivors of our wrath will become slaves.

-The world would be warned that any attacks on our soil will result in complete destruction of the enemy country within 72 hours. So much as a firecracker stuffed into a tailpipe will set free the dogs of war.

-All democrats will be used for body part harvesting.

-I will make it a Felony to even utter the name Obama.

There are too many changes to list.

Ok, perhaps I need a better plan, one that shows my softer side, but my attitude will not change. LOL
