For those who don't want either Romney or Perry, even if you'd never vote for either.

Thanks for the info, and please, do not apologize. I hope that your cat lives well for a long time.

Wonder where Perry will send David Medina for the next 18 months.

Stupid question.
If I ever "had" to pick, no elections would be necessary.

I never "have" to pick. This is not Kenya, Venezuela or Pakistan.

His speech is very good.

In 2007, Hussein's speeches were also "very good."

Sheeesh!

I didn’t ask you to PICK. The question was:

“If you had to read that one was elected as President to replace 0Bama, which would be least painful for you?”

Unless you plan on poking your eyes out, you almost surely WILL read that someone won the coming Presidential election in 2012.

Stupid answer.

Thank you for a well-spoken, well-reasoned voice of sanity. For those who CLAIM to be concerned for the future of this nation and publicly state to either stay home or vote third party should their candidate of choice is absent from the ballot in 2012, are either deluded fools or outright liars. Neither Romnney nor Perry are as conservative as I would prefer but given the last three years under this Marxist regime, I would take either before subjecting this country to another four years of calculated, deliberate social and economic destruction. Personally, I cannot afford another four years of Obama’s concerted, all-out assault on America. I would not ask my fellow Americans to endure the same so I can preen and posture about maintaining a pure conservative ideology, while handing those ready to destroy America the means to do so.

To paraphrase a line from ‘The Patriot’: I have a family, I do not have the luxury of principles.

I’ll write in Palin, then go on to the down ballots that Pali recommends.

That, among many other things. David is toxic. If Perry leaves him in Austin, he should be OK.

I believe every word. I don't think she is going to run. Surely she has seen the polls...not in her favor.

I like her; like the way she goes after Barry, and I'm glad she is making a lot of money.

I think she was terribly mistreated by the MSM and is more capable than she's been given credit.

I understand WHY she is not announcing her intentions because it will cost her when she does...but I don't think she should intrude on debates. She is a celebrity, is going to attract and distract, people who have no intention to vote for her. I would love to see her ...but have changed my mind about voting for her.

Before Alaska had their write in candidate win, I would 100 percent agree with you. I think Sarah can win a write in easily. If could happen in Alaska it can happen nationwide. Still early and we will have to see, but a write in is not a guarantee that Obama would win anymore after Alaska. Granted that was not the candidate that we wanted to win, but I am using that as a great example of how a write in can win now a days. Your thinking while sincere is no longer valid.

I do not have the luxury of principles.

I gotta say, I've never seen the GOP throw principle out the window so early before. Usually they at least wait until after the new year.

Throwing in the towel? I think not. I am simply answering the question based on the parameters initially set forth. I will vote conscious in the primary election, like I always do.(FYI: I did NOT vote for Perry in the last GOP primary for governor.) When the general election comes around, I will put on my big girl underwear and vote for the most conservative candidate remaining WITHOUT voting third party. Voting third party or staying home is half a vote for the Democrat candidate. As of right now, odds are good one of these two candidates WILL be the GOP presidential nod in 2012. Anyone voting third party or staying home is giving half a vote to the Marxist regime and ultimately the weaponry to finish off the republic.

Desalinization makes much more sense but, guess what they're discussing right now?

Pipelines from places that have an abundance of water to parched areas like ours. Not sure that's the greatest of ideas for an independent state like Texas.

A vote for a liberal, Democrat or Republican, is a vote for a liberal. If you can’t offer us a real conservative, all your tired old arguments don’t mean anything at all.

Real conservative candidates either are too busy running a business in the private sector or refuse to undergo the media’s colonoscopy of their private lives. As a voter, you vote who is available on the ballot at the time of the election.

Wishful write-ins or staying at home pouting because your candidate of choice did not survive the selection process only benefits the DemocRAtS. Vote how you choose in 2012. I am through wasting my breath. However, should Obama win again because too many conservatives embrace fantasy over reality, I will know who to blame for America’s destruction.

You're hilarious. Blaming those who won't compromise principle for the inevitable results of your own compromise. Really, you need to get some new arguments. History has vividly shown where your way of thinking leads our country.

Thank you.

Right now Rabi is passed out on my bed as she takes her afternoon nap.

Between 6:00am and 6:30am, she enjoys watching Tom and Jerry cartoons on a local TV channel. She squats on my bed intently looking at the screen and sometimes reaches out toward the screen with her paw.
