For those who don't want either Romney or Perry, even if you'd never vote for either.

“Nope...that trick won’t work. It could be taken out of context later ... We’re tired of trickery...how about some TRUTH for a change? “

You are entitled to your opinion, but I’m curious about who was hated less. So far they are both hated, but Perry is not as terrible.

I did not ask if you could vote for either.

As far as “taken out of context later” concern, I jokingly suggest you put on your big-boy panties because this is just a conversation, it will NOT affect the outcome of the election. I promise. Declining to answer is fine, but, because you are worried about your reputation? Really? Well, it is a free country, thank God.

I’d have to go with Perry because:

1. He’s a gun guy
2. He at least pretends to be a states rights guy
3. He has realized global warming is a joke
5. He is pro jobs
6. He seems to have a record of fighting govt spending
7. He has stated his intention to shut down the Dept of Energy and the Dept of Educ

Worries:

1. The Trans Texas corridor and his immigration stance
2. 2007 Bilderberg attendance.

Only the lib media wants Romney.

The question should be:

Who would you pick between Obama, the current Republican candidates or Perry?

My answer would be PERRY!

So you won’t even show up to vote for conservatives in down ticket races? That just doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Any Republican that was elected Governor of Massachusetts would not get my vote.

There is no substantive difference between Romney and Obama.

Is Romney a marxist?

“If a socialist wins under the Republican banner we no longer have a functioning two party system, Conservatism would have been cut out.”

That happened in 1989.

Mmmmmmm Alan Keyes....

I won’t vote for Romney or Perry, since neither is a Conservative. (and if that causes obama to be reelected, so be it, it won’t be my fault the GOP has craptacular candidates)

If the Republican Party nominates Romney or Perry, I’ll write in Palin.

And yet even Palin said she would vote for Romney...so we'll put you down as an Obama vote.

Too bad....again it’s just voting for the lesser of two evils. Both are RHINOs.

Romney

There is no way the voting public including independents and dems will stomach a George W. Bush clone.

I wish people will get that through they very thick skulls.

Perry nomination is a gift to Obama...all the bush blame comesback and you have walking talking Bush clone.

"Allowing Obama to win reelection is better that either of those two winning."

I can't believe I just read those words on FR!!!

Aside from trolling, WTH are you doing on a Constitution-based, conservative forum like FR? Begone!!

There were NO conservatives on the ticket in my area last time around...I don't expect that to change.

“You know when you’re attempting to do good by voting for the lesser of two evils. You’re still essentially voting for evil.”

There has never been a perfect candidate for any office in the history of earth.

I agree that there is a point where I’d rather have Obama instead of a fake Conservative, but it is ALWAYS a lesser of two evils.
