Donald Trump stumbled when asked about the heads of major terrorist organizations on Thursday and then lashed out at what he called a "gotcha question."

Who wouldn't? They change every other week.
I’m pretty sure that back in 2000, some reporter tried to stump W. by asking him who was the PM of one of the “stan” countries. Bush didn’t know..and the MSM made a big stink about it..the “gravitas” thingee
If this has already been posted, my apologies, I did search.
The man wants to be president of the United States of America. There’s quite a bit he needs to familiarize himself with.
As it stands, it appears his definition of a gotcha question is a question he does not know the answer to.
At the debate Hugh should also give the candidates a spelling test on these foreign names
Should have said Muhammad or achmed, what difference does it make?
The next Obamadrone changes the line-up. How many more threads on this. The Salem network cabal is busy promoting stuff.
What about a candidate thinking there are 57 states in this country? I’m guessing that’s considered ok?
Pakistan after the coup that brought Musharraf to power.
It was a gotcha question.
Hello CNN, Trump doesn’t need to know ISIS leader’s names. He just has to know who on our side will be tasked with killing them all.
Translation: We must have a career politician so they will know the answers. I was always taught that a good manager doesn’t know everything but is smart enough to know what they don’t know and seek knowledgeable advice.
And he should also ask whether Trump can recite all the US presidents in order. If Trump forgets that Cleveland had no consecutive terms, he should immediately drop out of the race
I don’t think Hugh Hewitt was being hostile during the interview, and the questions weren’t necessarily unfair, though they were rather pedantic.
Trump really needs to burnish his foreign policy creds if he wants to be President, but as far is the minutiae of terror group names is concerned I believe that’s what you have advisors for.
He is also a businessman. Is he supposed to know the name of the CEO of the top 100 businesses in the world too, when asked by a pesky reporter?
You have got to be kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One question that Trump couldn't answer and it takes ‘front page news’.....
I wonder if I could stand and face that talking headed msm a question I know he couldn't answer if it would make any news at all....
Are we down to this crap again?????????????
This is absolutely the most ridiculous thing I have read in days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If that is the best the LSM can get him on, they are toast.
Instead of fumbling through an answer, hoping he might get it right, instead of the bluster, he should just get to his ‘I don’t know, but my advisors are bringing me up to speed on a wide range of topics, of which this is one’ right away, instead of blasting the questioner.
It’s not Hewitt’s fault that Trump does not yet know the players. Remember, Trump has told us how tough he will be on the terrorists, so it’s reasonable (IMO) that he be questioned about it.
But that is the opinion of someone who is not a fan of Trump.
