If government ever makes this decision, killing 20% of Americans to accomplish it will be seen by the deciders as a fringe benefit - not a liability.

If even “10 heavily armed guys” show up at your door they won’t be “asking nicely”. It’ll be a no-knock raid against a declared terror suspect, and it will happen at 3AM. (I agree with that part of the post about designating gun-owners as terrorists).

The 20 nice men from the government will be masked, and probably do not reside in the immediate area.
There will be a lot of government-initiated SWAT calls saying someone has serious concerns.......

This is all being brought to you by China and Google and Apple. It will be put in place along with the banning of non electronic money.

I had some conversations with my good friend who has family in law enforcement. This was their opinion on what they eventually see coming if Democrats keep pushing for gun control. How it would go down is that everyone would be forced to store all their weapons at a local secured law enforcement facility for public safety. You can check your gun out at any time and for any legal reason - but you must return it within a set amount of time. If you fail to return it within the allotted time you may forfeit the use of your weapon until you are investigated and ultimately pay a penalty (tax). Repeated late returns or not returning your weapon could be a felony and you would lose your gun rights.
Democrats....the enemy within.
That would rile too many people up in the foreseeable future I think. Seems like their best plan is just to wait until we are much farther down the cultural slope and to keep as many people as possible obese and super-entertained in the meantime. Eventually only a very small % will be able to imagine getting off the couch much less willing to fight to keep their guns.
