If the house wants to be jerks I think they have met their match. I hope so.
It is going to get ugly though when feral employees miss paychecks and then contractors miss progress payments and that trickles down to their own suppliers and employees. So many people live from one paycheck to another.
Watch the market cave if long term goes down.
Sob stories no Food Stamps, DUH those are automatically re-loaded same as SS is.
He froze Higher echelon salaries including Pence’s. Froze gov workers 2.1% raise may not lift that, which they will get back pay, 700 NON-Essential workers can be let go. Military got a 2.8% pay raise, EO fixed the Coast Guard to get paid.
Idiots must think we are STUPID. We just went into Back to back Holiday’s. 4 weekend days are NON pay days, 4 Holidays NOT WORKED but would get back pay. That left 6 Work days out of 14 that would need back pay. Which the dems made sure they’d get.
Who we should NOT HAVE BEEN PAYING ARE CONGRESS-CRITTERS WHO DON’T WORK. They skipped town ahead of the vote, or voted no then skipped town.
Now Docs, Hospitals, Pharmacies might see a delay in being paid, but they will sooner or later get paid. Medicare takes up to 3 months to pay as is.
Just do it!
They shouldn't have any problem finding a job in this economy. Of course most of them are lazy unqualified parasites. So there's that.
That would be hilarious, and only take maybe a couple hundred people in concert. No profanity or vile references needed. You’d drive them bonkers.
That leaves two possibilities. One, alas, is secession, which is a danger to any federal systemsomething about which James Madison wrote at great length in The Federalist Papers. With any federal system, there is the possibility that some states will try to leave it. The Czech Republic and Slovakia have gone their separate ways peacefully, just within the last generation. But America is much better at expansion than contraction. And George Washingtons admonitions to preserve the Union, I think, still miraculously somehow linger in our ears. So secession would be extremely difficult for many reasons, not the least of which is that it could lead, as we Americans know from experience, to the fifth and worst possibility: hot civil war.
True as that may be, all that goes over the head of most people. And Trump is not making the case you’re making.
The one that’s going to win this fight is the one that wins the PR battles, which boils down to who the people end up blaming. So pin the blame on them.
Start the process last month Mr. President so we’d be that much further along when they throw the leftist judge in front of the Trump Train.
I’m glad to see our fine president fighting for America... unfortunately, RINOS and Dems aren’t.
Trump has long been a supporter of the liberal majority in the Kelo vs New London case and now wants a military version of eminent domain to seize private property for his wall. I didn’t like the civilian version and think I’ll like a military one less.

Pretend Journalist Wallace interviewed Sarah the Saint Sanders this morning and accused President Trump of holding some federal workers hostage.
Pure DNC Talking Point using the magic word, hostage.
Here’s the text of the law Trump would use to authorize wall construction:
Ҥ2808. Construction authority in the event of a declaration of war or national emergency
(a) In the event of a declaration of war or the declaration by the President of a national emergency in accordance with the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) that requires use of the armed forces, the Secretary of Defense, without regard to any other provision of law, may undertake military construction projects, and may authorize the Secretaries of the military departments to undertake military construction projects, not otherwise authorized by law that are necessary to support such use of the armed forces. Such projects may be undertaken only within the total amount of funds that have been appropriated for military construction, including funds appropriated for family housing, that have not been obligated.
(b) When a decision is made to undertake military construction projects authorized by this section, the Secretary of Defense shall notify, in an electronic medium pursuant to section 480 of this title, the appropriate committees of Congress of the decision and of the estimated cost of the construction projects, including the cost of any real estate action pertaining to those construction projects.
(c) The authority described in subsection (a) shall terminate with respect to any war or national emergency at the end of the war or national emergency.”

Every cop on Earth couldn’t confiscate the firearms in Tampa.
