Cannot copy text, this article discusses the bill introduced to Congress seeking to uncover the link between the spreading Lyme Complex plague in the US and Plum Island Bio Weapons research.
Yes, we shot ourselves, then pretended it did not happen
There was a study done where they took ticks stored as samples from the 1940s that supposedly had Lyme disease way before plum island was a government installation. This could be part of the coverup if thats what it is. I dont know. We live on Long Island the Lyme capital of the world. Some of My extended family members have had it. They keep checking me for lymes because of my autoimmune disorder. But I show no titer.
At this point if it was proven that the government made Lymes, there would be a trillion dollars worth of law suits
For decades doctors have been mystified by the epicenter of the Lyme Epidemic. Funny how we find out after decades it hasnt been a mystery to some people at all.
Yes and no on Lyme disease. Our enemies have infiltrated the Left to the extent to where deer are running wild in the Northeast, everywhere...that was never the case in the past. Needless to say, that’s also spreading elsewhere.
Deer carry Deer Ticks, usually hundreds, they brush up against bushes/trees in the woods, some ticks migrate off...and they wait for their next customer, who is often humans. They jump on to humans, embed themselves, and with that comes the dreaded Lyme Disease (something even liberals dread more than Trump).
Nasty stuff, although if caught early (like my sister did), can be dealt with. If not caught early, it’s one nasty pile of crap (i.e., symptoms) to have to live out life with.
In the past, deer were hunted to the point of not even seeing them except in the deep woods and rural areas - no longer the case. Was/is it biowarfare? As I said, yes and no. I don’t claim to know how the disease started, but there is an easy way to stop it...but the Left won’t let that happen.
Unbounded paranoia.
I think the Russians plant these conspiracy theorists among us.
Nelson DeMille is my favorite author.
I would recommend any of his books especially “Night Fall” and “The Gold Coast”.
And...”The General’s Daughter”...the book. The movie with John Travolta was good also.
Exactly. Spent lots of time running around the woods and walking through areas without any ticks, but now, result in easily picking up anywhere from 6-10 ticks. And we used to check and be checked everytime we came from the outside or before we got back in the car, and a tick was extremely rare.
Twice now I've gone through antibiotics, and it's usually been for 21 day cycles. I also keep a dirt area maintained for the dog just off the deck now that I'm TN. The first week in the house, I must of picked off close to 30 ticks as I was removing shrubs and brush that were less than 20 feet from the house.
I have specific clothes and gear that all have been doused in permethrin to help prevent the litter critters from latching on. Should that start to fail to do the job, we are in big trouble. Of course, the next house is going to not have neighbors and I will let the chickens and guinea fowl decimate the tick population.
I understood it is actually caused by the white footed mouse. They carry a bacteria in its blood. When the tick bites the mouse they get it. The tick gets on the deer or any other animal and transmits Lymes to them.
Also, in the winter when there is a foot of snow on the ground, there are all of those tasty shrubberies planted up close to our houses.
My wife spends hundreds of dollars a year feeding the birds mealy worms, sunflower seeds and suet. She does it to attract the bluebirds. All the other birds and chipmunks benefit.
We have four "wild" turkeys. Two are full grown Toms and two are Jakes. They are so accustomed to living around our house that they pay no attention to the SIX BEAGLES barking and howling at them from behind that 6 foot high chain link fenced area. they come to with 20' of the fence. They also pay no attention to myself riding around on my John Deere tractor. I have gotten to within 15 feet of them before they moved. Every night these turkeys roost in a couple white pines on the side of our property.
I would add "Charm School" to that list as well.
Try reading “The Gold Coast” and then “The Gate House”. These two are about a lawyer. They take place about ten years apart but have the same main character and supporting characters living on the north coast of Long Island.
I’ve read several and enjoyed them. But I can see there are many more to read. I think the most recent was “The Charm School”.
Hah...I just commented that I’d read that within the last few years. Was a good book...kind of scary too, but completely believable.
And I would say that if you think this subject is the least bit amusing you’re a fool. My brother contracted both Lyme disease and ehrlychiosis from ticks, both of which were mis-diagnosed by doctors - supposedly “specialists” - until it was too late for him. He was a physical trainer and a helluva good guy who died at 57.
Moreover, if you think it’s nonsensical that the government would do such a thing, you need to educate yourselves on the Tuskegee Experiment, Atomic Veterans, which occurred in the 1930s and 40s. Look at what the government/deep state has been doing more recently and tell me it’s beyond comprehension or, to quote Hillary Clinton, “...requires the suspension of disbelief.”
We need to develop an effective tick killing chemical. With our massive industry it should have already been developed.
I have untreated Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (RMSF), a tick disease for 2+ years. I live in Ground Zero for tick diseases. Many doctors here are reluctanct to treat these diseases because they are ‘reportable” to CDC. The State is concerned about the effect on tourism if it gets out you have high risk of getting one of these potentially deadly diseases.I had a doctor actually say that.( Look up CDC). One of my friends has it, we apparently got it at same time playing with a puppy she rescued. It had a lot of ticks.Nearly every week I meet someone here who has it or knows someone who does. The fatigue and neuro/vascular symptoms are debilitaing beyond description. In my research for blogs of others with who got RMSF I came across one posted by a physician in a neighboring state that got infected. He came across documentation that ticks diseases had been weaponized. Now I am convinced.
