Senator Bernie Sanders had a heart attack this week, his campaign said on Friday, as he was released from a Las Vegas hospital.
“After two and a half days in the hospital, I feel great, and after taking a short time off, I look forward to getting back to work,” Mr. Sanders said in a statement.
His doctors in Las Vegas, Arturo E. Marchand Jr. and Arjun Gururaj, said in the statement that after Mr. Sanders experienced chest pains on Tuesday night, he was given a diagnosis of a myocardial infarction, or heart attack.

Of course it was a “heart attack.” It’s amazing how the media covered for him by not saying that he had a heart attack with emergency coronary angioplasty and stents. If he were a Republican, they would have immediately declared that his presidential run was finished, due to old age and the potential for deadly recurrent MI’s.

My only two questions are: (1) Did he have the procedure done in Cuba or in Venezuela — the bastions of modern communist health care?; and, (2) At his age, why wasn’t he triaged onto a death sentence waiting list?
So he didn’t just get a stent.
He had a heart attack either before or after he got his stent.

As I posted earlier...I told you that usually a stent insert only requires a day or two hospital down time. When his doctors made it plain he would undergo more extensive diagnostic tests...I knew that Democrat Socialist, Bernie Sanders either suffered a mild stroke or, a mild heart attack. He should retire at once!!! Any voter that casts a vote for him now is not wrapped too tight!!! Bernie is done, finished , toast. Agreed. I detest 99% of his politics but he is one of the very few lefties I grudgingly respect. Love him or hate him, what you see is what you get. He is that rarest of leftists.Which is to say he is and has always been fairly honest about what he stands for. And on very rare occasions I’ve even agreed with him. He is right about how corrupt Wall Street is and that our tax code is of the wealthy, for the wealthy and by the wealthy.
