A Trail of FBI Abuse: The Horowitz report confirms that the bureau deceived FISA judges with the Steele dossier.

The press corps is portraying Mondays report by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz as absolution for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but dont believe it. The report relates a trail of terrible judgment and violations of process that should shock Americans who thought better of their premier law-enforcement agency.
Readers can look at the detailed executive summary and decide for themselves. But our own initial reading confirms the worst of what we feared about the bureau when it was run by James Comey. The FBI corrupted the secret court process for obtaining warrants to spy on former Trump aide Carter Page. And it did so by supplying the court with false information produced by Christopher Steele, an agent of the Hillary Clinton campaign.
How can anyone, most of all civil libertarians, pass this off as no big deal? The absolution is supposedly that Mr. Horowitz concludes that the FBI decision to open a counter-intelligence probe against the Trump campaign in July 2016 was sufficient to predicate the investigation under current FBI rules.
Yet Mr. Horowitz also notes that these rules amount to a low threshold for predication. John Durham, the U.S. Attorney investigating these matters for Attorney General William Barr, said Monday he disagrees with Mr. Horowitzs conclusions on predication, albeit without elaboration for now.
Mr. Horowitz confirms what the FBI had already leaked to friendly reporters, which is that the bureaus alarm in July 2016 was triggered by a conversation that former Trump aide George Papadopoulos had with Australian Alexander Downer. But we learn for the first time that the FBI immediately ramped up its counter-intelligence probe to include four Trump campaign officials: Messrs. Page and Papadopoulos, then campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency Michael Flynn.

Did you happen to notice that Steele claims he was “favorably deposed” to Trump because he (Steele) had a close personal relationship with a member of the family? One of the networks is reporting it’s Ivanka (Yael) Kushner. See page 128.

Can I file deceptive and unsubstantiated documents before a court? Any court?
Nope. Straight to jail.
I think the FIB will be spending the next ten years sorting out and investigating common folks who have threatened politicians, judges, and appointed government thugs. We're not going to hear much, but we know it's real.

Is the FBI under the domain of the “Intelligence Community”?
Specifically, can the ICIG, Horowitcz, require current FBI personnel to answer his questions?

Inspector Generals are like the human resource arm of a company.
Human resource divisions are not there to help employees but to help the company that they work for.
Human resource departments take care of problems and protect companies!
Inspector Generals can be said to work for the same reasons.
If theres a way to say that the department didnt violate the policy or law .. that is what they will do.
Words like
bad behavior and
errors in judgment are used to describe the actions of rouge, (aka disposable employees) and are not a true representation of the agency itself.
Now that
that is out of the way, let's take a look at some reasons for why this report is very limited in scope.
The Inspector General has said that he was looking into the surveillance of a
certain person which we now know is Carter Page.
The problem is ... Carter Page was just one of Trump's campaign associates that was spied on.
(One area where Durham and Barr will dig further into)
The Inspector General is inhibited from speaking to anyone not working at the Department of Justice at the time of his questioning.
If theyve retired or been fired, he cant force them to cooperate.
(Think: James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Lisa Page Et al)
And let's not forget
Kevin Clinesmith!
Clinesmith became infamous for his viva le resistance, (to Trump) while investigating the Clinton email fiasco.
The same Clinesmith who was forced off of the
Mueller Trump/Russian 'collusion' investigation after text messages showing his dislike/hatred of Trump were exposed.
If they work at a different agency or department the situation is the same and they can't be forced to cooperate with the investigation.
So now, you have an IG report with a lot of words with very little substance!
If you have followed the
Investigation into Trump from the beginning you know that there were numerous 'agencies' with their hand in the
Russian Collusion fiasco and most especially ... the Steele Dossier.
The dossier that was paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC.
The dossier was
doled out by a number of agencies along with the DOJ and FBI!
(Again, those
agencies cannot be compelled to give testimony)
Remember how 'upset' the democrats became when they learned of Bill Barr's appointment as Attorney General?
I believe that they were 'upset' because they had reason to believe that he (Barr) would appoint a
Special Prosecutor to head up a real and in-depth investigation, regardless of where it led!
(The
Special Prosecutor can compel testimony from outside the agency.)
He did just that!
The Department of Justice has revealed that the probe led by federal prosecutor John Durham has become a criminal investigation due to the wrongdoing it has found.
And Finally ...
How it all began:
========================================
These are but a few of the people that the IG didn't interview.
(If I read the rules of engagement correctly)
I'd say that the
report could have looked quite different if they had been interrogated!
Peter Strzok, former deputy chief of counterintelligenceFIRED
Andrew McCabe, former FBI deputy directorFIRED
Lisa Page, former counsel to McCabeRESIGNED
James Baker, former FBI general counselRESIGNED

If they deceived the Judges, that means they did it deliberately. So what other reason would you have to deliberately deceive the Court, in order to get FISA warrants approved, than the fact that you have a bias against the person/persons you want to surveil?

I just caught a minute of Rachel Madcow. She was elated because the IG report said there was definitely a reason to investigate Russia Russia Russia and that there was no political bias.
She is nuts. Jim.

John Solomon has a new article that states there were 51 violations, and 9 false statements by the FBI in the Russian Collusion hoax. How can Horowitz explain away that many violations, and false statements in just one specific investigation, and not claim it all occurred because of bias against Trump?
